Saturday Accumulator

We’ll kick off our weekend accumulator with MANCHESTER UNITED, a team who began their Premier League campaign with a 4-0 win over West Ham and the biggest thing for Jose Mourinho is now to maintain the standard and guard against complacency.

There was everything to like about the Red Devils performance including the debut of Romelu Lukaku and Nemanja Matic, with the defence looking very solid and the pace of Marcus Rashford and Paul Pogba causing untold problems for the Hammers.

Swansea looked poor at St Mary’s on Saturday and the goalless draw was fortunate considering the amount of chances enjoyed by Southampton. Meanwhile, we’re not expecting many goals when Burnley tackle West Brom on Saturday as both managers look to build on winning starts.

Tony Pulis makes no bones about the art of defending and will look to profit from set plays, while Sean Dyche continues to pursue another striker and there won’t be a repeat of that Stamford Bridge 3-2 win. That is why we’re predicting UNDER 2.5 GOALS at Turf Moor which means up to two goals can be scored for this leg to win.

We move down a division for our next pick and BRISTOL CITY look ripe to record a win against a Millwall side who have found wins hard to come by at the moment.

The Lions have taken just a point from three relatively easy fixtures, with City having enjoyed a 3-1 win over Barnsley on the opening day, while they nabbed a 2-2 draw at Brentford on Tuesday night. Lee Johnson’s team have come out of the traps firing and their goal power should help them to outscore a promoted team struggling to find their feet at Championship level.

Finally, we’re predicting a win in League One for FLEETWOOD who should get the better of AFC Wimbledon at Highbury Stadium.

The Cod Army were among the better teams in the division last season and continue to be managed by Uwe Rosler despite the German being linked to several clubs during the summer. Fleetwood have opened with two wins and Conor McAleny looks ready to continue scoring for his new club.
