Tip: Arsenal win to nil
Units: 1/5
Odds: +130

Arsenal’s home form in the Premier League has been brilliant this season, with Manchester City and Liverpool the only teams who have been superior in front of their own fans.

At the time of writing, the Gunners have won thirteen of their sixteen matches at the Emirates, with no team having landed a victory in this quarter of north London since Manchester City obliged way back in August.

Unai Emery is generally acknowledged to have done a good job in charge during his first season and we’re expecting them to claim another maximum haul in this game, with Newcastle arriving in decent form of their own.

Rafael Benitez has once again demonstrated what a class manager he is considering that the Magpies sit thirteenth in the Premier League table with a return of 35 points from 31 games played.

There has been just one defeat in the previous six encounters which means that Newcastle are seven points clear of the drop zone right now, although they only have two wins on the road this season and we’re expecting them to be second best here.

Benitez will adopt the usual gameplan of aiming to keep things tight on the road and we can benefit as punters by backing Newcastle not to score as part of an Arsenal victory.

While the Gunners are a short price to claim victory, we can get with them at 13/10 to win along with keeping a clean sheet and we believe that the defence is a lot better than some are making out.

Arsenal have only conceded twelve goals at home all season and Newcastle have only scored twelve times on the road, so we believe that odds-against looks perfectly fair considering the latest stats.

While Salomon Rondon and Ayoze Perez are in good form, we’re not expecting them to get many chances against an Arsenal side who are likely to hog the ball and we’re going to bet accordingly.
