Tip: Chelsea win to nil
Units: 1/5
Odds: -125

We can’t escape from the fact that Chelsea have conceded just ten goals in fifteen Premier League games at Stamford Bridge this season, with the Blues in the hunt to land a top four spot which would mean Champions League football next season.

Alternatively, Maurizio Sarri might steer Chelsea to a Europa League triumph which would mean banking a place in Europe’s elite competition, although the Italian will be looking for a strong finish to the domestic season and his team should be capable of landing three points here.

The Blues have won nine times at home this season and lost just once, with Chelsea having shown their defensive capability when holding Manchester City for 120 minutes at Wembley in the EFL Cup final before losing on penalties.

Chelsea then went on to beat Tottenham 2-0 and they have a settled back four playing in front of Kepa, with Azpilicueta, Rudiger, Luiz and Alonso having been the first-choice rearguard for the entire season.

Ross Barkley returns from the international break bursting with confidence after playing very well for England over two matches and he’s sure to take his place in the midfield against a Brighton side who have once again struggled on the road this season.

The Seagulls are likely to stay in the top flight this season but they have lost ten of their fifteen away games this season and scored an average of just one goal per away games.

Chris Hughton is sure to target a goalless draw from this game and his team will be set up accordingly, with Brighton recently heading for a 2-0 FA Cup defeat at Millwall before a late brace of goals sent the tie into extra-time.

Chelsea won the reverse fixture at the AMEX Stadium when taking a 2-0 first-half lead before Brighton bagged a consolation after the interval although we’re not sure that the visitors will find a way past Kepa in this encounter.
