Leicester v Chelsea Betting Tips
Leicester City supporters will be feeling pleased as the season comes to an end and they remember three years ago when they were celebrating an unbelievable Premier League title under Claudio Ranieri.
Since the Italian left the club, the Foxes have been managed by Craig Shakespeare and Claude Puel, although neither were able to please the club’s Thai owners, with Brendan Rodgers having now left his Celtic post to take charge at the Midlands club.
Rodgers has made a good first impression and will want to see a sparkling performance from his troops in the final match of the season at the King Power. Perhaps if he’d been in charge from the beginning of the campaign, we might have seen City troubling the top six.
This is clearly a tough assignment for a Chelsea team who would look very ordinary without Eden Hazard. It’s looking likely that the Blues might have to fend without their talisman next season and perhaps Maurizio Sarri will decide enough is enough too.
There might be several players in the Chelsea squad eyeing an exit come the end of the season, with the London side having only won 50% of their away matches this term and we’re going to back Leicester to win this match in front of the home fans.
The Foxes can certainly avoid a defeat and the bottom line is that the Midlands side have only lost one of their last seven games at the time of writing.
A recent 3-0 win over Arsenal will only give the home side further confidence and it’s worth bearing in mind that Jamie Vardy has scored an incredible eleven goals in the previous eleven games.
Vardy will relish the chance to get the better of David Luiz and Antonio Rudiger, while he and many team-mates will look to close down former Fox N’Golo Kante.
