Tip: United win to nil
Units: 1/5
Odds: -105

Jose Mourinho stood on the Juventus Stadium pitch three weeks ago and cupped his ear to the home supporters after his team had triumphed literally against the odds to claim a 2-1 victory over the Old Lady.

However, the overwhelming feeling must have been relief considering that a defeat would have seen Valencia ahead of United with two games left and it would have meant the Red Devils were nip and tuck to reach the last sixteen.

Instead, they sit in second place knowing a win over Young Boys will see the team through to the knockout phase and it’s hard to see them making any mistake against a Swiss side who cannot qualify now.

The visitors have landed just a point from their four matches which is hardly a surprise in such a tough section and they have suffered heavy defeats at the hands of United and Juve.

They did manage to score in both clashes against Valencia although it was only the one goal and one of those came from the penalty spot, with Mourinho likely to set his team up to perform an effective job rather than deliver an expansive performance.

There is little denying that United have shown improvement in recent weeks, with Anthony Martial’s form particularly outstanding, although Victor Lindelof and Chris Smalling are operating well as a central defensive partnership.

Marcus Rashford is also looking bright in attack and Romelu Lukaku is available again, with the Belgian having fallen out of favour in recent games although he did win a penalty at Manchester City.

We’re favouring a United win to nil which puts them into the last sixteen and would render the trip to Valencia something of a dead rubber for them, with Mourinho happy to focus on domestic matters instead.
