France v Bolivia Betting Tips & Predictions
France are the current world champions and are now looking to make it a double by landing silverware at Euro 2020. Les Bleus have made a strong start to qualifying after 4-1 and 4-0 victories over Moldova and Iceland respectively.
Turkey and Andorra are next on the horizon, although Didier Deschamps’ side firstly have a warm-up match against Bolivia at the Stade de la Beaujoire, with the Nantes ground playing host to a friendly encounter which sees the French strong favourites to triumph.
The match is played on 2 June and there will be some notable omissions including Hugo Lloris and Moussa Sissoko. The Tottenham pair will have featured in the Champions League final the day before the match and will be recovering from their exploits and potentially still in celebration mode.
Similarly, we shouldn’t expect to see N’Golo Kante or Olivier Giroud play a part after the pair helped Chelsea win the Europa League final on Wednesday, especially after a long trip back from Azerbaijan.
Even so, Deschamps has plenty of other star quality at his disposal and many of the players should be nicely rested considering the domestic season has now finished.
Antoine Griezmann boasts a strong scoring record for his country, while Kylian Mbappe is one of the world’s most exciting talents. The pair should cause plenty of problems for a Bolivia side warming up for the Copa America.
Indeed, La Verde’s opening match at the tournament couldn’t be any tougher considering they are facing hosts Brazil and they are therefore looking to get a stern challenge before heading to South America.
However, this team have failed to win any of their past six matches and will approach the match in a defensive fashion, with Bolivia having most recently lost 1-0 against both South Korea and Japan.
The easiest way to play this game is backing France to win without conceding, with most of the match likely to be played in the visitors’ half and it’s a far greater price than backing Les Bleus simply to triumph.
