How the Crypto.com prediction market works
Crypto.com operates a CFTC-regulated prediction market for trading contracts on sports and non-sports events. These non-sport events include politics, culture, crypto, economics, and climate. Moreover, Crypto.com's sports market features basketball, baseball, golf, tennis, hockey, soccer, football, and motorsports.
Each event contract displays prices, which represent the implied probability of the event occurring. For instance, in a basketball game between Oklahoma and West Virginia, Oklahoma had a 63% implied probability. Therefore, purchasing a “Yes” contract in Oklahoma to win cost $63. On the other hand, WVU had an implied probability of 39%, indicating a lower likelihood of winning the match. So buying Yes for West Virginia costs only $39.
If your prediction is correct, the contract settles at the stated amount, which may be $1, $10, or $100. However, if your contract loses, you get nothing in return. Note that Crypto.com fees apply when opening or closing a position, as well as when you make a correct prediction. Nonetheless, no fee is charged when your prediction is incorrect.

Crypto.com referral program – How it works
The first thing we noticed in our Crypto.com prediction markets review was that it doesn't offer any bonuses for trading event contracts. The available referral bonus is only functional on the cryptocurrency exchange side. As of writing, this bonus offers you up to $2,000 in CRO for every friend you invite to the exchange. Plus, you get 50% of their trading fees until the 12th month of their registration. Your referral also gets a sign-up bonus of up to $50 in CRO when they register using your referral code. There are no limits to how many friends you can refer.
