How does Crypto.com work?

Crypto.com is a prediction market site that’s available on its dedicated app and the Crypto.com Exchange. Our Crypto.com prediction markets review offers more details of its operations, but here’s a quick look at how the site works.

At Crypto.com, you can trade “Yes”/ “No” contracts based on a price that reflects the probability of the event occurring. Contract prices aren’t fixed. Rather, they reflect the opinions of other traders on the site regarding events.

If your prediction of an event contract is correct, you’ll receive $1, $10, or $100 from the site, depending on the contract you purchased. However, if your prediction isn’t correct, you won’t receive anything from the site, and your contract expires.

Crypto.com covers both Sports and Events and you’ll be required to pay two types of Crypto.com fees, namely, the technology fees per contract and exchange fees.

What’s the Crypto.com sign-up bonus?

At the time of writing, there was no welcome bonus for prediction trading at Crypto.com. New traders at the site can get 1 Bitcoin worth of CRO rewards by completing a mission in the site’s app. Completing the mission involves meeting a trading target of $100 or $500, depending on your jurisdiction. However, the rewards are randomly awarded by the site and aren’t dependent on the amount you’ve traded after completing the mission.

Note that you’d have to complete the mission within the first 30 days of signing up to Crypto.com. You’re not eligible for this offer if you sign up with a referral code or if you reside in Canada, the UK, South Korea, or Singapore.

New traders who have a referral code or link can also sign up on Crypto.com and claim a bonus of up to US$50 of CRO, depending on the amount of CRO that you stake. However, any CRO received as a bonus doesn’t count toward the staked amount.

We didn’t find any ongoing promotions for Crypto.com sports predictions; the closest we found was a $20 cash bonus, but the offer lapsed in January 2026.

How to use your Crypto.com welcome bonus

We found claiming a welcome bonus at the site pretty easy. Here are the steps that you’d need to take to claim yours:

8. Confirm your phone number via verification code

9. Complete the verification process, which requires submitting your documents, and once your identity has been verified, you’ll receive an in-app notification to that effect

We found a couple of other promotions available at the site. Here’s how they work:

Level Up

Crypto.com features a subscription program called Level Up. At the time of writing, we found a promotion in this program where Crypto.com app users who subscribe to the Annual level-up plan or upgrade their current subscriptions and trade and deposit crypto can get a 1% rebate worth up to US$500 in CRO. However, this promo is available for a limited time only and might vary over time.

Referral program

There’s also a referral program that’s available on the Crypto.com app and the Crypto.com Exchange, where you can refer friends to the site via your unique referral link or code. If they sign up, meet the site’s Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements, and trade up to a certain volume within 30 days, you’ll both receive rewards.

For the app, the trade volume milestones vary by location, and at the time of writing, the referral program wasn’t available in South Korea, Singapore, or the United Kingdom. You’ll also get rewards for 100 successful referrals via the app, after which you won’t receive any more rewards for referrals.

At least at the time of writing, there wasn’t. We had thought we’d be able to use our welcome bonus to trade event contracts, but Crypto.com currently doesn’t have such an offer. Nonetheless, we like the way the bonus is set up. Meet the trading requirements, and you could get up to 1 BTC. However, the offer’s availability may vary based on location, and the rewards are also randomly awarded.
