This new prediction market platform lets you trade various contracts tied to the outcomes of real-world events in sports, economics, politics, and cryptocurrency. In the sections that follow, you’ll learn exactly how this platform works, its usability, trading fees, customer support, and mobile app experience. What Is DraftKings Predict?

DraftKings Predict, or the official name, DraftKings Predictions, is a standalone prediction product created by DraftKings.

Here, you trade contracts on real-world events such as sports, crypto, stocks, commodities, politics, economics, and business. DraftKings launched this prediction market product on December 19, 2025.

While that’s a short track record, the parent company is not new in the US. Based on my assessments, it already runs some of the largest sports and fantasy apps, as well as a functioning casino. So you can expect a smooth trading experience with its prediction market product.

How does trading predictions here work?

Similar to what I found in my PrizePicks Predict review, every market on DraftKings predictions asks a simple and direct question. For example:

Will GameStop acquire eBay this year (2026)?

This question and hundreds of others available on the prediction market site have two contracts: Yes and No. Back to my earlier example, here are the implied percentage probabilities at the time of writing:

  • Yes at 13%
  • No at 88%

The implied probabilities are not set by the operator at random; they reflect active traders’ buying and selling positions on the site.

Thus, the Yes contract above suggests that the market believes there’s a 13% chance of that outcome happening. The same applies to the No contract; the market believes there’s an 88% chance that the event won’t happen.

A quick look at a test trade I took

In a perfect trading market, the Yes and No implied probabilities should add up to 100%. However, it doesn’t happen all the time due to bid-ask spreads or the market’s liquidity.

Keeping that in mind, I decided to make a test trade. Backed by my personal sentiment, I bought $100 worth of the No contract. This was for that example market I mentioned: “Will GameStop acquire eBay this year (2026)?”. If the event settles as I predicted, I’ll get a $111 payout. That’s an $11 upside. But if GameStop acquires eBay this year, I’d lose my entire $100.

Interestingly, I don’t need to hold my position till the event ends. I can sell my position either to lock in a potential gain if the implied probability shifts in my favor or to cut potential losses if the price moves against my prediction.

The brand also offers a Combos feature that lets you combine up to 6 event contracts into a single contract. The payout here, if you’re familiar with the multi-leg structures, is usually much higher. But to get your full return, each leg must be correct; any loss means you lose the entire contract. I used this feature once during the 2026 World Cup knockout stages.

Categories on DraftKings Predictions

From my research, DraftKings Predictions features different categories in sports, stocks, commodities, politics, culture, business, climate, and economics. This range of prediction markets is almost identical to the one I found in my Underdog Predict review. Let me discuss what each category offers:

💰 Economics

In this category, you can trade Yes/No events on Federal funds rate, Consumer Price Index (CPI), Gross Domestic Product (GDP), US recession, and ECB (European Central Bank) Interest rates. Here are a few examples:

  • Will there be a US recession in 2026? Yes (14%) or No (95%)
  • Will the California Billionaire Wealth Tax Initiative Pass in 2026? Yes (35%) or No (71%)

🗳️ Politics

Politics is one of the largest prediction markets on this platform. You can trade predictions on who will control Congress, the mayor, state governors, and the presidential elections in the upcoming election cycle. The platform also provides international election coverage. Take a look at these examples:

  • Will the Democratic Party control the US House of Representatives based on the 2026 midterm election results? Yes (86%) or No (15%)
  • Will JD Vance be the US Presidential election winner in 2028? Yes (22%) or No (82%)

🏅 Sports

DraftKings Predictions offers several prediction markets on major sports like soccer, baseball, tennis, basketball, Mixed Martial Arts, golf, American football, sailing, Formula One, and college football. Here is an example:

  • Will the Oklahoma City Thunder become the NBA Champion? Yes (22%) or No (79%)

💻 Cryptocurrencies

In this category, you can trade predictions on the price movement of two key digital assets: Bitcoin and Ethereum. You can trade across multiple time frames, like daily, monthly, and yearly. For instance:

  • Will Bitcoin be above $200,000 by next year? Yes (10%) or No (99%)
  • Will Ethereum reach an all-time high by December 31, 2026? Yes (12%) or No (98%)

🎨 Culture

This is an entertainment category that focuses on award nominations, music, and video game awards. The selection here is pretty limited, but it still gives you a no-pressure way to learn about the platform. For example:

  • Will Resident Evil Requiem win the Video Game of the Year 2026? Yes (18%) or No (88%)
  • Will Donald Trump be TIME’s Person of the Year 2026? Yes (13%) or No (88%)

🌍 Climate

This section is quite limited, but you can trade the outcome of climate change year-round. Here is the only climate prediction market available at the time of writing:

  • Will 2026 rank the hottest year on record? Yes (75%) or No (30%)

Reviewing the welcome bonus on DraftKings Predictions for new traders

New traders can unlock a welcome offer worth up to $200 in Predictions Dollars. To get this bonus, you must first place a trade of at least $5. Once you complete this qualifying trade, you’ll receive $50 in Prediction Dollars.

The remaining $150 will be available in 3 x $50 allotments every 7 days for a total of 21 days. You don’t need any DraftKings Predictions promo code to unlock this offer.

It would interest you to note that these Prediction Dollars you’ll receive are not real money and are therefore not withdrawable directly. You can only use them to place trades once on any preferred prediction markets. Any potential return you get from the trade is added to your cash balance, which you can withdraw.

To enjoy this bonus fully, here are a few requirements to keep in mind:

  1. You must be a new customer residing in an eligible US state and be at least 18 years old

  2. Use real cash from your account balance to make the qualifying trade

  3. Prediction Dollars expire one year from the date of issuance

Are there other DraftKings Predictions promotions to claim

There are not many promotions to claim on this platform. But I found a refer-a-friend program. Here, you’ll receive $25 in Predictions Dollars if your friend signs up via your referral link and makes their first deposit. However, the maximum number of people you can invite is 5.

There’s also a Rewards tab in the app that features time-limited promotions tied to specific events and seasons. You won’t find any tiered VIP club on this platform. If you plan to trade on this platform occasionally, the promotions are more than enough in my opinion.

However, if you’re a high-volume trader hoping for bigger long-term perks, the current promotional setup feels thin. But given how new the prediction market app is, I expect rewards to expand over time.

DraftKings Predictions usability, look, and feel

When I first entered this prediction market app, I was impressed by how well-arranged it was. Signing up took me under ten minutes, as it asked for my name, address, date of birth, and the last four digits of my Social Security number (SSN). It’s standard for any CFTC-regulated exchange, as I found during my FanDuel Predicts review. So, don’t be alarmed when the operator asks you to provide these details.

Once I was fully logged in to the platform, I found the available prediction market categories listed on the side of the screen. The sports section will cover the entire screen, so you’ll need to scroll down to find the remaining categories.

I decided to tap the commodity category and found available markets (Crude Oil, Natural Gas, Gold, Silver, and Copper), along with a trade slip that appears whenever I buy a prediction. While I was using the Combos feature, I appreciated the operator’s warning when I made inappropriate combinations.

One interesting quirk is that you’ll find the moneyline (+/-) format on all available prediction markets on this platform. Since DraftKings Predictions took some design features from the Sportsbook product, you cannot adjust it to the cent-style format. The moneyline format works, but if you’re coming from other prediction market apps, you may need time to adjust.

The search bar worked well during my review. When I type in a name or a topic word, I get relevant markets within a few seconds. I didn’t notice any lag while browsing the platform, which kept my experience at its peak.

Is there a DraftKings Predictions app?

Yes, there is. This prediction market site has dedicated apps for iOS and Android, and it closely mirrors the desktop site. Based on my assessments, I didn’t notice any missing features in the mobile app. I could browse available prediction markets, fund my account, and trade event contracts.

Interestingly, you can log in with your existing DraftKings login if you already use the sportsbook, casino, Daily Fantasy, or Pick6. That said, your money stays separate. Funds sitting in your Sportsbook wallet don’t carry over automatically to the prediction markets account, so you’ll need to make a fresh deposit into your Predictions balance.

DraftKings Predictions payment and fee structure

At the moment, DraftKings Predictions supports various payment methods, including debit cards (Visa and Mastercard), ACH bank transfers, Apple Pay (debits only), Venmo, and PayPal. The minimum deposit here is $5, and funds are available to trade after each deposit clears.

Withdrawals use the same methods you used to deposit, though processing speed depends on your choice. Card withdrawals are cleared within two days, while ACH bank transfers take up to five business days to settle.

I didn’t note any fees charged by DraftKings for deposits or withdrawals, though your bank may apply a small charge depending on the method. There’s currently no support for crypto deposits or withdrawals.

Regarding the fee structure, the platform charges a variable trading fee per event contract, depending on the contract's price. There’s a $0.01 fee for contracts priced between $0.01 and $0.19 (or $0.97 and $0.99) and $0.02 for contracts priced between $0.20 and $0.96.

DraftKings Predictions customer service

DraftKings integrates its established support infrastructure from its other products into the Predictions platform. I had access to customer support (a built-in chatbot), help center support tickets, and callback requests in eligible cases.

I reached out to support twice during my assessment. The chatbot handled a basic account question quickly. However, I needed to wait for a live representative for more specific details. My live chat query about withdrawal timing got a clear answer within five minutes, and the agent was polite and to the point.

Then, there’s a deep self-help library covering funding, verification, and account questions. I’d like a more direct path to a human agent for urgent issues, as I didn’t enjoy talking to a chatbot for a few minutes. But overall, the customer support here is professional and helpful.

Is DraftKings Predictions available in the US?

Yes, it is. DraftKings Predictions is a CFTC-registered introducing broker and a member of the National Futures Association (NFA). In June 2026, the brand launched its own exchange, called DKeX, built on technology it acquired from Railbird Technologies.

Security-wise, I didn’t encounter any red flags during testing. Also, the brand’s long operating history across its other products adds a layer of trust.

Account verification is thorough. You must confirm your identity with personal details and submit a photo ID (driver’s license or passport) before you can fund your account or claim any welcome offer. This step protects both the platform and you from any identity fraud.

State-by-state availability

DraftKings Predictions is available in all US states except Massachusetts, Maryland, Maine, Michigan, New Hampshire, Nevada, New York, and Ohio. I should note that available event contracts are not accessible in all regions. Here’s what I found during my review.

Regions where all markets are availableAlabama, Alaska, California, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho, Minnesota, Nebraska, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, and Utah
Regions where no prediction markets are availableMassachusetts, Maryland, Maine, Michigan, New Hampshire, Nevada, New York, and Ohio

Interestingly, DraftKings has provided a US map with color-coded legends to show the prediction markets available in your region.

Register on DraftKings Predictions right away and explore its available markets

From this DraftKings Predictions review, you can tell that this platform is off to an excellent start. Here you’ll find event contracts on sports, the stock market, commodities, politics, culture, business, climate, and economics. And when you add the Combos feature, you can enjoy a more entertaining trading experience.

As a new prediction market site, its prediction market categories (besides sports) are not deep enough. Also, the rewards program is limited. But these are just minor drawbacks that could be fixed as the platform grows. In my opinion, the platform is sufficient if you’re looking for a safe, easy way to trade event contracts. If you’re ready to try it out, feel free to click the banners on this page to get started.
