Fanatics Markets review for 2026: Is Fanatics Markets legit?

Fanatics Markets is restricted in your area.
Last Updated on 11.09.2026

Operated by Paragon Global Markets, Fanatics Markets is one of the latest prediction market platforms. When I heard about the site, I decided to test and confirm if it’s legit. In this Fanatics Markets review, I’ll share my findings.

From my time on Fanatics Markets, the platform does prove to be dependable. It offers federally regulated event contracts across various categories, including sports, politics, crypto, economics, and culture. If you’re in an eligible location, you can sign up and trade on the website or app. Read on as I reveal more details from my review.

Fanatics Markets: Pros & Cons
  • 5+ prediction market categories
  • CFTC-regulated event contracts
  • Fanatics ONE loyalty program
  • No live chat support

How does Fanatics Markets work?

Fanatics Markets is a prediction market platform where you buy and sell event contracts. As I confirmed, the brand allows trading on the website or iOS and Android apps.

The event contracts on Fanatics Markets are tied to real-world events and featured in a Yes or No format. Therefore, you purchase Yes contracts if you believe an outcome will happen. If you believe otherwise, you buy No contracts.

Fanatics Markets trading explained

Event contracts on Fanatics Markets cost from $0.01 to $0.99. After settlement, you receive a $1 payout per event contract if your prediction is correct. Alternatively, you can sell your position early, before the event concludes.

To be clear, Fanatics Markets doesn’t assign the contract prices. Instead, the market is peer-to-peer (P2P), so prices fluctuate with supply and demand, and you can view the figures as probabilities.

For example, if a Yes contract costs $0.75, it means traders collectively believe the event has a 75% chance of happening. This fact applies to other US prediction market sites, as I noted the same in my FanDuel Predicts review earlier.

Is Fanatics Markets legit?

I can only say yes, as Fanatics Markets is indeed legit. The operator, Paragon Global Markets, is registered with the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) and the National Futures Association (NFA). Both are the major regulators for financial markets in the US.

Based on my review, the prediction market site uses event contracts supplied by Crypto.com | Derivatives North America (CDNA). CDNA is also regulated by the CFTC, so trading the derivatives is permitted at the federal level.

However, access to Fanatics Markets depends on your location. After I signed up on the platform, I noted that it’s only available in these 24 states:

  • Alaska
  • Alabama
  • California
  • Delaware
  • Florida
  • Georgia
  • Hawaii
  • Idaho
  • Maine
  • Minnesota
  • Mississippi
  • North Dakota
  • Nebraska
  • New Hampshire
  • New Mexico
  • Oklahoma
  • Oregon
  • Rhode Island
  • South Carolina
  • South Dakota
  • Texas
  • Utah
  • Washington
  • Wisconsin

Fanatics Markets can expand or withdraw access in certain states over time, so the above list is subject to change.

Know Your Customer (KYC) verification

To comply with CFTC regulations, Fanatics Markets requires KYC from all traders. The process confirms you’re in an eligible state and at least 21 years of age. When you visit the site or launch the app, you have to allow location access before you can place orders. The brand must confirm where you are in real-time.

On Fanatics Markets, I didn’t have any trouble with verification. The platform simply asked me to fill out some personal information, including the last four digits of my SSN. If the details are a match after an automatic check, your account will be verified.

However, if the automatic check fails, Fanatics Markets will ask you to submit a valid government-issued ID. From what I saw, the platform accepts passports and driver’s licenses.

Fanatics sports prediction markets

If you ask me, the sports category is the most comprehensive on Fanatics Markets. In the section, I counted 10+ sports, including football, basketball, baseball, hockey, soccer, and cricket. As a result, you can trade contracts in NFL, NBA, MLB, and NHL games, among others. During my Underdog Predict review, I saw similar leagues and events.

Fanatics Markets also covers esports, motorsports, sailing, and golf. Let’s take a closer look at what to expect from the sports prediction markets:

Market types

The market options you see on Fanatics Markets depend on the sport. However, for the top US leagues, I often find moneyline, totals (over/under), and spread. Each outcome features a Yes or No option to select and trade based on your prediction.

In select games and leagues, Fanatics Markets can also list props and futures. To illustrate, I checked football and saw futures prediction markets for the NFL Champion, MVP, Coach of the Year, division winners, and more.

Combos

During my Fanatics Markets review, I made several combo trades with sports events. This option lets you combine multiple predictions into a single contract. Consequently, all outcomes you back in the combo must happen for you to receive a payout.

Making combos on Fanatics Markets isn’t complex. All you have to do is select event contracts in multiple games, and they’ll show on your trading tab. In my experience, you can add up to six event contracts per combo.

Live trading

As a Fanatics Markets trader, you can also buy and sell contracts while an event is ongoing. On the app, just tap the red Live button on the top menu to access them. The exact games you see will depend on what’s active at the time, but top sports are always covered.

I placed live trades on tennis, basketball, and baseball on the Fanatics Markets app. The format and trading pattern are the same as pre-game, but the contract prices are more volatile.

Politics events on Fanatics Markets

In the politics category on Fanatics Markets, I mainly found elections. The platform features US elections at different levels, especially gubernatorial, senatorial, and presidential. Also, there are party-specific predictions.

To illustrate, I traded event contracts on the Nebraska governor election winner, the Illinois senate election winner, and the US presidential election winner. Others I checked include the Republican presidential nominee and the party to control the House of Representatives.

Besides the US, Fanatics Markets can also feature international elections. At the time of my review, I saw event contracts for the winner of the Brazilian presidential election. My verdict is that Fanatics Markets will cover major elections in other countries whenever they’re close.

Other political events

The Fanatics Markets prediction markets for politics don’t end with elections. If you browse the featured contracts, you’ll also see other politically related outcomes. For example, I found this event on the app: Will the California billionaire wealth tax initiative pass? That’s a state ballot proposition outcome rather than an election for a candidate.

Trading Fanatics Markets culture contracts

Fanatics Markets performs well in terms of culture-related events, although I believe the category can be better. Here are my findings:

🎶 Music

In this section, the prediction market app primarily covers Spotify. I traded event contracts on the top artist and top song of the year, which were the sole options at the time. I would prefer it if Fanatics Markets featured other music streaming platforms and weekly charts for more variety.

🎮 Video games

Switching to this category, I saw an option to predict the video game of the year. Fanatics Markets lists popular games in the US, including Grand Theft Auto, Resident Evil, Crimson Desert, and Control Resonant. For each title, you can buy Yes or No event contracts depending on your prediction.

While making this review, I didn’t spot outcomes tied to game releases, industry news, streaming, or esports. These are some areas where Fanatics Markets falls short compared to other prediction market platforms I’ve tested.

📺 TV shows

If you sign up with Fanatics Markets, you can trade contracts for the Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating Contest. However, that’s an annual event held on July 4. Over time, I believe the brand will introduce more TV shows, such as Big Brother and Love Island, and even TV series.

🏆 Awards

You can expect prediction markets on popular culture awards on Fanatics Markets. For instance, I traded on Time’s Person of the Year, which featured some widely famous personalities.

Fanatics crypto prediction markets

For its crypto event contracts, Fanatics Markets focuses on popular digital currencies, including Bitcoin and Ethereum. Below are the different prediction categories I encountered:

Above or below

With this option, you predict whether the price of a cryptocurrency will go above or below a particular figure. An example I saw on Fanatics Markets was this: Will Bitcoin be above $200,000 by next year? So, you buy Yes if you believe BTC’s value will exceed the said amount and No otherwise.

Above or below predictions can also apply to short time frames, such as daily, weekly, and monthly. However, I observed in my Fanatics Markets review that these other durations are limited.

Target price

As the name says, the focus in this category is on predicting what price a crypto coin will reach. From what I saw on Fanatics Markets, the outcomes are usually in ranges.

For instance, the market may ask, what price will Ethereum reach by the end of the year? Then, you’ll see options such as $1,700 to $1,800, $1,800 to $1,900, and so on. Sometimes, the market may feature a single target price, which is often more difficult to predict.

All-time high

Here, you trade event contracts on when BTC or ETH will reach a new all-time high. In the Fanatics Markets app, the options I found were months.

To illustrate, you can predict that BTC will achieve an all-time high in September, November, or December. The market will resolve correctly if the cryptocurrencies reach their highest ever value in your selected month, even if they drop below it afterward.

Economics event contracts on Fanatics Markets

Based on my checks, you can group the economic event contracts on Fanatics Markets into two categories: economic indicators and central bank decisions. Here’s what to expect on the site:

Economic indicators

In this area, I traded event contracts tied to the following indicators:

MarketWhat to expect
InflationPredict whether inflation will rise, fall, or reach a specific target
Unemployment ratePredict the percentage of people who are unemployed, plus whether the rate will increase or decrease
Jobs addedPredict how many jobs will be created or removed within a particular period

Central bank decisions

The prediction markets in this category focus on monetary policy decisions made by central banks. I saw events involving the US Federal Reserve (Fed) and the European Central Bank (ECB) on Fanatics Markets.

For both central banks, you can predict decisions such as rate cuts or hikes in basis points (bps). The platform mainly features lower than or equal to and higher than 25 bps. I also spotted a 0 bps option if you believe the rate will be unchanged.

Fanatics Markets bonuses

In my opinion, Fanatics Markets is one of the best US prediction market apps for promotions. The platform offers multiple welcome bonuses, referral rewards, and a loyalty program. These promos mainly involve FanCash, the brand’s native loyalty currency, which you can use to trade.

I’ve explained the offers below:

Up to $150 in FanCash

Here’s Fanatics Markets' first bonus for new traders. It gives you up to $150 in FanCash if you sign up and trade for seven days in a row. To activate this offer, I didn’t need a Fanatics Markets promo code. The platform simply matched my daily trade up to a specific maximum figure that increases per day. Here’s how:

DayMaximum FanCash bonus
Day 1$10
Day 2$12.50
Day 3$15
Day 4$20
Day 5$25
Day 6$32.50
Day 7$35

Note that you can’t directly cash out your FanCash. You have to use them to trade at least once, and subsequent payouts become withdrawable.

Up to $500 in FanCash

Fanatics Markets’ second promo for new traders awards up to $500 in FanCash. However, I classify it as one for high-volume traders because it requires at least $10,000 in qualifying trades within your first seven days.

Referral program

At Fanatics Markets, you can invite others to sign up and trade. I did that by sharing my unique link with a few friends not long after creating my own account. If they register and make their first qualifying trade, you both receive a bonus equal to the amount, up to $25 in FanCash.

From the terms I read in this Fanatics Markets review, there’s no limit to the number of friends you can invite. However, the maximum bonus from the referral program is $1,000 in FanCash. Fanatics Markets also has a VIP referral offer that awards up to $100 in FanCash per successful referral that trades at least $10,000 in seven days.

Fanatics ONE

Once you create a Fanatics Markets account, you automatically join the Fanatics ONE loyalty program. In some states, you may have to opt in manually.

As a Fanatics ONE member, I got up to 10% FanCash on my trades, regardless of the result. Also, I got tier points to increase my loyalty level, based on the price of the contracts I bought. Moving to higher tiers increases your FanCash percentage, among other benefits.

Few familiar payment methods

To fund your Fanatics Markets account, you can use debit cards, Apple Pay, ACH bank transfer, or wire transfer. The exact options may vary depending on your state. However, the platform doesn’t support credit cards.

I wasn’t surprised to see the few funding options on Fanatics Markets. During my PrizePicks Predict review, I found similar methods for Team Picks, and the same applies to some other prediction market apps.

Fanatics Markets doesn’t set a general minimum deposit for its payment methods. The exception is wire transfer, which requires at least $1,000. From my findings, the brand may charge up to a 2% fee for debit cards, but ACH and wire transfers are free.

Fanatics Markets withdrawals

You can withdraw using debit cards, ACH bank transfer, or wire transfer on Fanatics Markets. The brand excludes Apple Pay for payouts. Similar to deposits, there’s no general withdrawal limit, except for wire transfers, which have a $10,000 minimum.

My tests show that debit card payouts usually take only a few hours. Meanwhile, ACH and wire transfers can take over a day, depending on the receiving bank.

Dark-themed but clean UI

I’ve used different Fanatics products, and the brand consistently features a dark theme. On the Fanatics Markets site, it’s no different. I found the interface clean and easy to browse because it’s not cluttered in any way.

Via the top menu, you can select your preferred prediction market category. There’s also a Trending tab, which lets you quickly view the most popular events at a given time. If you select a category, the subsections appear on the left menu.

As someone who’s often on the go, I spent more time on the mobile app. So, I performed a dedicated Fanatics Markets app review on both iOS and Android.

My verdict is that the app is nearly identical to the website version, with the dark theme and overall arrangement. That said, I found switching between sections on the app simpler because of the bottom menu.

Limited customer service channels

Fanatics Markets offers email as its primary support channel. In my experience, you can reach out by sending a direct message or using the on-site contact form. Replies arrive within 24 to 48 hours, which is moderate for email customer service.

I couldn’t find a live chat on the Fanatics Markets website or mobile app, which is a significant downside. As an alternative, you can call the general Fanatics telephone line. The platform also has a help center, and the resource helped me with answers and guides to simple queries.

Fanatics Markets is trustworthy

After my extensive Fanatics Markets review, I’m totally convinced that the platform is legit. As I explained, it’s operated by a CFTC-registered and NFA-member company, Paragon Global Markets. Also, the event contracts from CDNA are separately regulated by the CFTC.

Fanatics Markets complies with regulations by requiring KYC and geolocation checks before trading. You can only place orders on the website or app if you’re in an eligible location.

Other aspects of Fanatics Markets are just as reliable. I commend the platform for offering sports, politics, culture, crypto, and economics event contracts, plus bonuses and loyalty rewards. The payment methods may be few, but they’re familiar and secure for deposits and withdrawals.

If Fanatics Markets must improve, it’s in the customer service department. The brand can add a live chat option for quicker support. Despite the drawback, I can still recommend signing up with Fanatics Markets. To begin, tap the links on this page to visit the site.
