I’ve enjoyed trading a few event contracts on OG.com, including high-volume football events and gaming markets. If you’re looking for its available promotions, I have the details right here. Interestingly, you don’t need an OG.com promo code.
From my experience, I received a $10 welcome bonus. All I had to do was sign up on the platform and make a trade of at least $10. If you’re interested, I’ll share details about this bonus and how to claim yours on this page. I’ll also provide some tips to help you make the most of your trading experience.
During my OG.com prediction markets review, I signed up on the platform and found a very modest $10 offer for new traders. To claim it, I needed to fully verify my OG account, fund it with at least $10, and make one qualifying trade.
Here are two things to note if you want to activate your bonus:
It’s also important to note that while this platform is legal across the US, residents of New York and Arizona are ineligible to join this prediction market platform or enjoy its bonus. That said, a handful of other regions, such as Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, Nevada, and Ohio, have specifically restricted sports contracts.
Claiming this bonus is very easy. Here’s how to go about it:
Click any of the OG.com banners on this page, and you’ll be redirected to the platform’s official homepage.
Click the “Sign Up” button at the top-right corner to begin the registration process.
Enter your email address and confirm it using the six-digit code sent to your inbox. Alternatively, you can sign up via Google or Apple.
Verify your US phone number via the six-digit code sent via SMS.
Create and confirm a six-digit passcode, which you can use to log in and approve transactions.
Next, provide basic personal details like your first and last name, date of birth, and the last four digits of your Social Security number (SSN).
The operator will ask that you upload a photo of your government-issued ID (driver’s license or passport) and a selfie.
After you have fully verified your account, deposit at least $10.
Go to the platform’s prediction markets and place a trade of $10+ on an event contract with less than 80% probability within 7 days.
Once the trade settles (win or lose), you’ll receive your $10 bonus.
Please note that you can’t withdraw this bonus directly. You can only use it to trade event contracts. And only the potential gains you get from trading your $10 bonus are credited to your balance and available for withdrawal.
Before you register for an account and claim any bonus, it’s beneficial to know what you’re doing on OG. Similar to what I found in my Coinbase review, each prediction market on OG starts with a simple question. Here’s an example
Will Grand Theft Auto VI be the video game of 2026?
If you have an answer in mind, I’m sure it’s either a Yes or a No. Interestingly, these are the two possible answers to most prediction markets you’ll find at OG.com.
Now each possible answer has its own contract, priced between $0.01 and $0.99. Based on the example above, here’s the value of each possible outcome:
The price of each reflects what active OG traders believe will happen. So, a Yes share of $0.77 suggests the market (buyers and sellers) sees a 77% chance of that outcome occurring. The same logic applies to the No contracts; traders believe there’s a 30% chance that GTA VI won’t be the video game of the year.
Now here’s where it gets really interesting. If you decide to purchase the Yes contract and your prediction is correct, it settles at $1. That means you obtain $0.23 in profit per contract. But if you get it wrong, all Yes contracts purchased turn to zero.
Another cool thing about trading prediction markets at OG.com is that you don’t have to wait till an event finally settles before you can sell your contracts. As new information regarding an event rolls in, its Yes and No contract price adjusts in real time. So you can sell your position early to lock in some profits or cut your losses before the event is over.
In my experience, most of what I traded on OG was in a simple Yes or No format. It’s called a binary contract. However, just like I found in my Moomoo review, other formats are available. They include:
Here, the prediction market offers several possible outcomes at once. For instance, I found this format in a basketball prediction market:
Who will win the 2027 basketball championship?
I found different possible outcomes, each carrying its binary outcome.
This format is available in a small number of prediction markets. Here, the outcomes exist in a range, and your goal is to pick one based on your belief. For instance:
What will be Bitcoin’s price at the end of 2026?
In my opinion, it’s best to stick with binary contracts at first. They are easiest to follow and trade. Once you get the hang of them, feel free to explore other formats.
In my experience with prediction markets, I noticed OG.com has an intuitive interface. Of course, just because it’s straightforward doesn’t mean you don’t have to be careful. That’s why I’m providing these helpful tips to ensure you enjoy your experience on this platform.
Your first few trades should be about learning the interface, not chasing a big win. With small trading amounts, you can make mistakes without burning a hole in your pocket.
A contract’s price tells you what the crowd believes right now. If you think that belief is wrong, that’s your opening. I have found underpriced event contracts trade at $0.20 only to settle at $1 within an hour.
Unlike the zero trading fees I found in my ROLR review, OG charges a flat two cents ($0.02) per contract when you open a position. If you choose to close a position early, the platform will charge another $0.02 fee. But if you leave it to resolve on its own, the extra fees won’t apply.
Beyond the welcome bonus, OG doesn’t offer many regular promotions. But I found a referral program that lets you get up to $150 per friend. If you invite a pal through your unique OG referral link and they reach a certain amount of trading volume, you’ll obtain extra trading credits. And this bonus is for both parties. Here’s how it works:
The OG.com promo gives new traders an easy way to test prediction markets with minimal risk. All you have to do is sign up, verify your account, make a deposit, and place at least a $10 trade. Afterward, you’ll receive a $10 bonus. Just make sure to meet this trading requirement within 7 days of verifying your account.
If you've read this far, you already understand how this platform works. So don't just sit on that knowledge. Click one of the banners on this page to create an account and start making your predictions today.
It’s a $10 bonus in trading credit. You must deposit and trade at least $10 within seven days of verification to unlock it.
Residents of Massachusetts, Maryland, Michigan, Nevada, New York, and Ohio can't register on this platform or claim its bonus. Others can do so, but contract availability is another concern. Traders in Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, Nevada, and Ohio cannot access sports contracts specifically.
Yes. You can sell your position at any point before an event settles. This lets you lock in a profit early or cut your losses if the probability moves against you.
