Polymarket App Review: Features, Access, and Mobile Experience

Last Updated on 28.05.2026

Recently we have concentrated on reviewing different features of Polymarket as one of the leading prediction trading exchanges in the USA. In this guide, we are going to look specifically at the Polymarket app.

Many people want mobile trading, so a downloadable smartphone app could be the answer. Polymarket does indeed have two apps– one for Android devices and one for iPhones. If you read on, we’ll explore what others are saying about them, give our own thoughts and reviews, and show how you can get signed up to start trading.

Is there a Polymarket app?

Yes. Like other top prediction trading exchanges, Polymarket offers two downloadable apps. One for Android smartphones, and another for iOS devices. You can download them either directly from their site, or the respective Google Play and App Stores. While we will do our own testing for this Polymarket review, we first wanted to see what other people were saying about the apps to get an unbiased perspective.

Polymarket iOS app - 4.7 star rating from 30,000+ reviews

iPhone users will be pleased to know that the iOS version of the Polymarket app has a 4.7 star rating from over 30,000 customer reviews. This makes it one of the top rated prediction trading apps on the marketplace. We checked through a range of different reviews, and the positive comments mentioned the safety, usability, and the variety of prediction markets you can trade on.

However, there were also some negative comments which claimed slow withdrawal processing times, and slow response times from the customer support team - these negative comments were few and far between though, and the positives largely outweighed them.

Polymarket Android app - 3.7 star rating from 7,100+ reviews

The Polymarket Android version has lower ratings compared to its iOS counterpart, and we did see A LOT of 1-star reviews from disgruntled customers. The main issue here seems to be that Polymarket is still in the process of fully rolling out their Android app.

As a result, when you attempt to sign up after downloading it, you will be placed on a waiting list, and at the time of writing this review, there are reported to be over 800,000 users on that list. This means that you might not get instant access to the Android version, and until it is fully rolled out, it could be a better idea to use the mobile-browser version of the site on Android devices.

The comments from people who have been able to access the app were largely positive and generally praised the app interface, the low Polymarket fees, and the impressive variety of prediction markets you can trade.

Pros and cons of the Polymarket app

Currently, the Polymarket app still has room for improvement, but this is purely due to the rollout process for the Android version. Overall user sentiment outside of that is positive, and it looks like everything else is working great. There could also potentially be some withdrawal teething problems, but we think this is more due to people not quite understanding how the banking works properly, and thinking that Polymarket is an online sportsbook when it’s not– it’s a prediction trading exchange.

Pros and Cons
Pros and Cons
  • Great usability
  • Superb selection of prediction markets
  • Low trading fees
  • Available on Android and iOS
  • Issues with the Android rollout
  • Potential withdrawal problems

Our experiences with the Polymarket mobile app

While we take into consideration what other people are saying about the Polymarket app, we also wanted to do our own testing. With that in mind, we downloaded the App Store version of the app, and put our names down for the Android waiting list. We have seen some mention of potential codes that you can use to bypass the waiting list, and you can check the banners on this page to see if any are available that you can utilize.

The app works great! For navigation, you have a scrolling bar at the top which allows you to view the different prediction categories like sports and elections with a single tap. This bar is always available and we think it makes for incredibly easy app navigation. At the bottom of the app, there is a home button, account button, and search option for added functionality and navigation. This means you can quickly make deposits and manage your trade contracts, or search for specific predictions if you know what you are looking for.

In terms of the individual predictions, we like the layout and how the important information is displayed. You get large buttons showing the yes/no trade contract options with their current prices, plus they offer graphs that show the price trends and how they have changed over time. A simple but effective feature we also like is how when you go to buy/sell trade contracts for a specific prediction, it will show your total minus any fees, so you don’t have to do any manual calculations.

Getting started with Polymarket to use its mobile trading app

If you want to give Polymarkets a try and use the app, you will need to register an account with the site. This is a simple process, but you will need to do some verification processes. Currently, the required steps should include:

  1. Clicking our Polymarket banners or links

  2. Clicking the “Sign Up” button

  3. Choosing your registration method (email, Google, MetaMask, Coinbase, etc.).

  4. Entering the relevant details.

  5. Accepting the site T&Cs.

  6. Doing any initial verification.

  7. Logging in to your new Polymarket account.

With your account created, you can download the app or use the mobile browser version and make your first deposit. You should be able to deposit using crypto or fiat payments via a third-party crypto wallet, a linked exchange wallet such as Coinbase, or card or bank transfer. With some funds in your account, you are free to start looking at the available prediction markets including Polymarket sports, elections, and politics. Some of the main categories they support include:

  • Crypto
  • Culture
  • Mentions
  • Sports
  • Elections
  • Politics
  • Geopolitics
  • Finance

To give you an idea of what you can actually expect, we have listed five examples of live predictions that were active when we wrote this app review. The yes/no contracts represent what you could buy the relevant trade contracts for relating to the predictions:

Conclusion– Polymarket has two downloadable mobile apps

Whether you want to trade Polymarket election contracts or some of the other excellent markets this exchange offers, the Polymarket app could be just what you are looking for– especially for iOS users. From our experience, the Polymarket iOS app is ready to go, and gives customers a smooth trading setup. The Android version can offer the same, but you may have to wait as you move down the waiting list until the app is fully released on the Google Play Store.

We think this will be resolved soon though due to the popularity of the site and how much interest it has gathered. Please remember that there is also the mobile-browser version of the site that you can use on iOS and Android devices and you can click the banners we have on this page to sign up with either version without the need to download the apps.
