As one of the top prediction market brands, this detailed ProphetX review is necessary to give you an overview of the site. In this guide, you’ll understand why it is one of the rising platforms out there.
Like other top prediction market brands I’ve reviewed, I enjoyed a cool experience at ProphetX right from sign-up. First, you can trade sports and political event contracts on this site. It also has a dedicated mobile app you can download to access available event contracts on the go. The platform is simple to use and has good customer support.
ProphetX is a CFTC-regulated prediction market platform where you trade binary (Yes or No) contracts on real events across various sports and politics. As I found in my Plus500 review, you trade event contracts with other traders and not against the platform itself.
This prediction market brand began operations in June 2026, which means it has a short track record in the space. But its parent company has run a social sportsbook since 2018. That said, every prediction market on this platform has Yes and No contracts priced in implied probabilities, between 1% and 99%. For example, here’s a market I saw during my review:
Will Nithya Raman become Los Angeles Mayor in 2026? Yes at 59%, No at 44%.
The Yes contract means that traders on the platform believe there’s a 59% chance Nithya Raman will become the next LA Mayor. On the other hand, they believe there’s a 44% chance that it won’t happen.
If Raman secures that office, all Yes contracts will settle at 100% and all No contracts will settle at 0%. If she doesn’t, all No contracts will settle at 100%, and all Yes contracts will settle at 0%.
I decided to trade the No contract on the above market based on my own research. I bought $100 worth of the No contract at 44%. The platform automatically calculated my potential return as an extra $127 if my prediction is correct.
So, my potential payout becomes $227 ($127 plus $100). But if Raman becomes the next LA Mayor, I’ll lose my $100.
ProphetX is registered with the US Commodity Futures Trading Commission as a Designated Contract Market (DCM). That means the platform operates under direct federal oversight, which makes it available in all US states except Nevada.
Regarding security, the platform and mobile app use advanced encryption technology. As such, your personal information is well protected. During identity verification, which is mandatory before you start trading, I didn’t spot any red flags. The platform uses a third-party verification service and only needs extra documentation if your details don’t match cleanly on the first pass.
Based on my tests, I only found event contracts in sports and politics. Here’s what each category offers:
ProphetX started as a social (peer-to-peer) sportsbook. So it makes sense that it offers prediction markets across several sports. These include football, baseball, golf, basketball, Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), boxing, soccer, college sports, and hockey.
No matter which sport you choose, you’ll find several prediction markets, including moneyline, spread, total points, half-time or quarter-time scores, player props, and team props. I also found futures across certain specific events, which let you focus on the overall season rather than settle for match-by-match forecasts.
Here are a few examples I saw:
ProphetX’s politics prediction market is quite limited. But it lets you trade outcomes on the upcoming 2026 Midterms. Other examples I found besides the Nithya Raman LA Mayor Winner 2026 prediction market include:
As a new trader on this platform, you can unlock a welcome offer of $75 (three equal installments of $25) as a trading bonus. To get this ProphetX bonus, you must complete $50+ in qualifying trades within 30 calendar days of account approval.
As soon as you meet this trading requirement, you’ll get your first $25 within 24 hours. Then, you’ll receive your second $25 on Day 7, and the final $25 on Day 14.
Please note that you can’t withdraw this trading bonus directly. But you can use it to open a position. Once it settles, your potential payout (bonus funds plus any returns) becomes available to withdraw.
That said, here are some terms associated with this bonus:
Yes. While limited, the one I found was the refer-a-friend program. Here, you and your pal will each receive $25 in trading bonus. For that to happen, your friend must register via your referral link, verify their identity, and deposit at least $50. Then, they must complete at least one trade a minimum of $50 within 30 days.
Each additional qualifying referral increases the bonus by $5 ($30, $35, $40, $45, and $50). This will continue up to a maximum bonus of $50 per qualifying referral. I didn’t find any limit, so you can keep referring as many friends as you can.
That said, ProphetX doesn’t currently run a VIP club or a points-based loyalty program. Since ProphetX is still new, I believe the platform will add more promotions over time.
The first thing I noticed when I logged in was how clean the platform was. Many prediction market platforms try to cram every real-world event onto one screen, and it’s never pleasant to see. ProphetX doesn’t do that. Prediction markets are grouped by politics and sport, and within each category, you can filter down to the specific game or event you want.
Searching for a specific event took me seconds. In fact, it has a search bar in the top-right corner, where I typed a team’s name and found available prediction markets I could trade. The platform also displays contract prices clearly, so you know the current market sentiment. I could also input a desired contract price (in percentages) or go with the current market price.
Yes, ProphetX has a dedicated iOS and Android app. I downloaded both to see how they mirror the desktop site. From my testing. I didn’t see any missing features in the mobile app. I could browse available prediction markets, fund my account, access available offers, and trade different event contracts.
The interface scales down well on my devices. Nothing feels squeezed or difficult to tap. When I tap on an event contract, a trade slip appears, and I can add my fund amount. I can also minimize the slip to explore other selections.
Based on my assessment, ProphetX supports various payment methods. They include debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, cash at retail, EdgeBoost transfer, online banking (Aeropay), cryptocurrency (with Zerohash), and wire.
Each payment method has its deposit limits.
Withdrawals are limited to online banking with Aeropay, paper check (hard copy via mail), and wire. The minimum withdrawal is $1 for any of these options. Withdrawals on this platform take 24 hours to process. But if you plan a large withdrawal of at least $5,000, wire is the best option. Just note that it will take up to 72 hours to complete.
That said, ProphetX doesn’t charge extra on deposits or withdrawals. But expect a 2% commission on your potential returns when a trade completes. Remember my first test trade? If I receive a potential payout of $227, the platform will take a $4.54 commission. So I’ll get $222.46.
While exploring the platform’s customer support, I saw the following options: live chat via phone call, email support, help center, and ticket submission.
My first attempt was to use the phone call option regarding a verification issue late at night (around 10 PM). But I found that this channel runs from 8 AM to 8 PM (EST). So, I had to send an email about my query. I got a response around 9 AM (the next day), which fell within the live chat’s operating hours. That way, I could continue my phone call with a human rep.
The support I got from both channels was good. I loved how patient the support reps were and how they handled my query without any problem. But when I tried phone support again, I waited about 5 minutes before talking to another agent. So, if there isn’t much traffic on the platform, you’ll get connected as soon as possible.
Submitting a ticket works fine as well, and it helps you organize your query by section. And if you just want to understand how the platform works in general, the help center is fully stocked with articles and official links.
After spending some time on the site, its mobile app, and trading a few event contracts, I was happy with this platform’s setup. The CFTC licensing matters here, as it shows this is a legit platform built to last and deliver fair prediction market services.
While it doesn’t have many promotions and prediction markets yet, I believe it’s because the platform is still in its growing stages. Over time, it should improve in these areas. So if you want a straightforward way to trade sports and political outcomes, click the banners on this page to create a ProphetX account and get started right away.
Yes. ProphetX is registered with the CFTC as a Designated Contract Market. That gives it direct federal oversight and makes it available across several US states.
Yes, and it’s available on iOS and Android devices. The app carries the same markets and features as the desktop site.
It depends on your payout method (online banking with Aeropay, paper check, or wire). Most withdrawals are processed within 24 hours after the platform receives your request. But larger payouts can take up to 72 hours.
