Upsets rocked College Football last week. However, none was bigger than second-ranked Ohio State falling to USC. This is especially considering that the Buckeyes were trading at 69c at one point on the best prediction market sites.

The Buckeyes will look to bounce back from that defeat when they take on the Oregon Ducks this weekend at Ohio Stadium. With the Ducks coming off their second victory against a ranked team this season, it’ll be interesting to see how they can carry that momentum against a Buckeyes squad desperate to get back on track.

Despite their heartbreaking 30-18 loss to the Trojans last week, the Buckeyes are still trading as huge favorites on several prediction market sites. Truth be told, we agree with the current market sentiment, although trading the Buckeyes moneyline contract at the 70c price range makes little sense right now.

Even if the Buckeyes do end up winning, and we believe they will, there's little incentive to buy into their contract at such a steep price. At 70c, you would be paying a premium for a team coming off a disappointing defeat. That only leaves you with around 30c in potential profit if the prediction does come true. For those reasons alone, we are skipping the Buckeyes moneyline contract and focusing on the following instead.

Buckeyes -7.5

The 20-year-old Smith has been taking on the offensive cudgels for the Buckeyes with 13 touchdowns and 62 receptions in eight games played. Not to be outdone are the Ducks who are coming off a solid three-touchdown performance from quarterback Dylan Raiola.
