I’ve seen a lot of chatter about BetRivers.com online recently. So, I figured I’d knock together a BetRivers.com review of all the ins and outs of the platform. It took me some time, but – ta-dah – here it is.
For those of you unawares, BetRivers.com is a real money iGaming site that offers online sports betting in 15 different states, and Vegas-esque casino games in certain regions, too. Generally, it’s a fine ‘ol place to play, and I’m about to reveal why. Here’s literally everything you should know about the brand’s bonuses, apps, licensing credentials, sports and games.

Bonuses have been the bread and butter of iGaming for generations, with most platforms going all-out to offer their most generous promos to new customers, almost like those guys at the mall that hang around outside the food court handing-out free samples.
In this case, there are two tasty bonus treats you guys can try-out. I’ve already picked-apart both BetRivers.com bonuses in a separate guide, but here’s a recap of the basics:
Bonus offer | What do you get? | Any T&Cs to be wary of? | Is a promo code required? |
---|---|---|---|
Sportsbook welcome bonus | A “second chance bonus bet” up to a max. of $100. |
| Yup – enter “SPORTS” on sign-up. |
Casino welcome bonus | Claim back 24 hours’ worth of casino losses up to a max. of $500. |
| Yup – it’s “CASINOBACK” this time around. |
It’s worth noting that there might be some variation in what’s up-for-grabs state-by-state. When a mate of mine registered from PA, for example, he was offered a completely different casino bonus good for a $250 match on his first deposit. So, always check the T&Cs locally before diving in, yeah?
It’s as I said, above already – there are 15 states you can currently sign-up from legally, including AZ, CO, DE, IL, IN, IA, LA, MD, MI, NJ, NY, OH, PA, VA and WV. All permit sports betting, but only a handful (like MI and PA, for example) give the green-light for accessing online casino games.
I dunno about you lot, but I’m definitely on the “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” team when it comes to sportsbook layouts, so I was delighted to see BetRivers.com’s dash is about as conventional as it gets.
Whether you’re signing-up with BetRivers.com to live-stream and bet on sports, or to try your hand at card games, you won’t find any experimental tripe here – it’s all clear-cut grids and one-click buttons.
My BetRivers.com sportsbook review basically fell head-over-heels for the sports dashboard in seconds. Featured odds are placed front-and-center, topped by colorful icons to take you to individual sports pages. Your slip can be minimized and maximized as and when you wish, and live-streams simply pop-open neatly onto the main page once launched. It’s amazing; trust.
Click through to the casino page, mind, and it’s a different story. Sure, there are square game grids and logical buttons that are just as easy-to-use, but I found it all a bit garish. Why? Well, there are two rotating banners (for promotions and recent winners), a cookies pop-up and a homepage that seems to never stop scrolling. It’s all easy enough to navigate, just a bit of a sensory overload compared to the sportsbook – so please be prepared.
Much as I found when writing last week’s Caesars review, BetRivers.com offers dedicated apps for both iOS and Android users.
You won’t have to mess about to locate them, either – they’re both linked from the bottom-of-page-banner on the BetRivers.com site, or of course can also be found on Google Play or the App Store.
IMHO, the app’s much better-suited to casino gaming than the website, as you don’t get the annoying rotating ads and player scores here for some reason. The sportsbook’s basically the same old story whichever device you bet on. Though I was surprised to see sports live-streams couldn’t be maximized to full-screen. I guess it’s because they want you be able to easily access your betting slip mid-game? Makes sense, eh?
If you checked-out BetRivers.com a bit for yourself before coming to me, the eagle-eyed among you might’ve noticed that these guys offer-up a huge platter of different payment options. From old-school VISA and MasterCard to up-to-the-minute e-wallets like PayPal and Play+, you certainly won’t be short of choice here – though there is a lot of variation in terms of deposit and cash-out speeds.
Yup, unfortunately, next to that slightly wacky casino web dashboard I mentioned earlier, this is our second BetRivers.com drawback of the day – the brand ain’t exactly Mr Lightning-Speed when it comes to withdrawal times, with some options taking anywhere up to 14 days. Yikes.
The slowest option on offer is VIP Preferred E-Check, while the fastest is by far PayPal – which promises 30-minute withdrawals by way of comparison.
On the upside, my BetRivers.com review found there’s no upper withdrawal limit for most payment options (perfect for high-rollers), fees aren’t charged at BetRivers.com’s end at all, and unless you’re claiming a tricky bonus that states otherwise, it’s fine to deposit and cash-out using separate payment methods, too.
The BetMGM review I polished and published recently found that that brand pretty much sets the industry standard for customer support by offering 24/7 live chat with near-instant human connection.
So, what’s the deal with BetRivers.com? Well, I’m happy to tell ya 24/7/365 live chat is on offer here, too – and it sits alongside email support and dedicated phone hotlines as alternative contact options.
I of course had a play about with all three, and found that email was probably my least favorite, on account of the fact I had to wait three days for a response. Live chat was much better – staff and I had a pretty instantaneous back-and-forth chat going on, while the telephone hotline was hit-and-miss.
If, like me, you’re the introverted type, you’ll be happy to hear there’s also a “Help Center” page packed-full of FAQs on anything from “how long do wagers take to settle?” to “what’s the latest bonus?”. It offers a neat search engine, too.

As I revealed previously, Betrivers.com is legit and licensed for sports betting in 15 different US states – though not all 15 offer access to the brand’s hip-and-happening casino games.
Upon visiting the site as a noob, you’ll see that geo-location software is used to determine your location – and you’ll need to manually select your state before you can register, too. Once you're in, the info regarding your local license is displayed at the bottom of the homepage.
The brand’s backed by anyone from the Illinois Gaming Board to the Arizona Dept. of Gaming, and if your state’s not covered, you’ll find alternative betting sites that are in my banners on this page.
I found that BetRivers.com carries out stringent ID checks on new users – and they offer dedicated “Responsible Gaming” and “Problem Gambling” pages chock-full of great self-limitation tools and resources, too.
You’re looking at a very widely-licensed operator here, then – which you and I both know has some pretty insane sign-up bonuses up-for-grabs. But are there any other offers on the table once these have been all-used-up?
Well, sometimes – my BetRivers.com review found you can hit the “Promotions” button (which is displayed as a megaphone icon on the app for some reason) at any time to bring up the day’s hottest deals. At the time of writing, though, the page was sadly limited solely to the two sign-up offers reviewed earlier.
As and when they do drop, all bonuses here have a 1x wagering requirement, which BetRivers.com quite boisterously brags about being “the lowest requirement you’ll find anywhere”. Is it really? Well, probably, yes. So I ain’t gonna argue
Oh, and in addition to any run-of-the-mill bonuses you might find, there’s also the tiered “iRUSH Rewards Program”, which allows you to rack up loyalty points at a rate of 1 Point for every $6 wager. As you climb your way up the ladder, points can be redeemed for various bonuses and benefits via the iRUSH Rewards Bonus Store, the rewards themselves ballooning in desirability depending on your loyalty status.
Sports betting is without a shadow of a doubt the star attraction at BetRivers.com – and it’s currently available in as many as 15 different US states. My BetRivers.com review found that pretty much all American bettors’ favorite leagues are on offer here – from NHL, NFL and NCAAF to MLB, UFC, NRL and even table tennis, to name but a few. I didn’t really spy any major markets missing here, but it would be nice if the brand would branch out into esports in the future.
The very second you click through to BetRivers.com’s so-called “Sports Zone”, you’ll be offered a “second chance” bonus which, in most states, is worth up to a maximum of $100 if your first cash bet loses. Interestingly, though, in PA right now this offer has recently been increased to “up to $500”.
Fair, competitive and easy-to-read are three words I’d certainly throw out there to describe BetRivers.com’s odds – which are displayed in all-American style by default, but can be toggled to fractional or decimal with one click if that’s more your cup of Joe.
I didn’t find much by the way of odds-boosts up-for-grabs at the time of writing, but I was impressed by the excellent variation of betting options available on most sports. If you like your parlays, it’s a multi-bettors heaven, basically.
I’ve mentioned live streams a lot in this guide, and the reason for that’s simple – they’re by far one of BetRivers.com’s biggest draws.
Via a nifty split-screen interface that’s literally idiot-proof to use, you can stream NBA, soccer, MLB and other big-league games, and drop in-play bets as and when the fancy takes you. Aside from that split-screen setup, there are no notable differences between the live betting and regular betting slips.
A lot like I found in the Fanatics review I put out not so long ago, the limits here are fair, but not exactly consistent from sport to sport. Generally, multi-bets must go down on odds of 1.5 or higher, but you’ll get a bit more flexibility if you’re going for a single.
Of course, it’s important to be aware that all bonuses (and bonus wins) have a 1x wagering requirement – and that minor state-level differences to bonus terms may apply from state-to-state, as I said earlier.
So, BetRivers.com serves-up a juicy-looking platter of popular sports paired with great odds, and even better live-streaming and betting tools. Sure, it sucks that there’s no esports right now, but I reckon what is here is more than enough to sink your teeth into.
Most of the BetRivers.com discourse I’ve seen on the likes of Reddit and X of late seems to center around the brand’s sportsbook. But to be honest, I reckon you Americans are really missing a trick if you don’t check out BetRivers’ casino sub-site.
For me, it’s something of a hidden gem, having sourced the bulk of its games from titans of industry like NetEnt and Booongo, as well as Everi Games and Habanero, to name but a few. Inevitably, this means all the games here offer cutting-edge graphics, and don’t slouch about when it comes to loading times. Just note that, right now, casino games can only be accessed from PA, WV and MI.
BetRivers.com’s casino page comes peppered with a bit of everything, from bold and bright slots games like Cash Bonanza and Gonzo’s Quest, to classic, more toned-down blackjack and roulette tables. High-RTP jackpots like Fireworks Megaways and Dragon Bonanza Gold Hit seemed to reign supreme in the “Top Played” category during my time here, though – and rightly so, too.
There’s a neat “Quick Play” feature that’ll drop you right into the action of classic reels, and some slots might occasionally qualify for “Daily Spin to Win” tournaments, which are fueled by competitive leaderboards and random prize drops. There’s also a few weird and wonderful games (think movie-inspired fare like a “The Goonies: Hey You Guys!” slot machine).
If you’re enrolled into the iRUSH Rewards Program, I found you’ll be able to rack-up loyalty points at 2x the regular rate whenever “Happy Hour Multipliers” drop – which seems to be at least once a day, usually early-evening around 5pm ET. In all, there’s a lot to sink your teeth into.
If you’re into live games, my BetRivers.com review’s highly doubtful you’ll ever wind up feeling disappointed here. For a casino that doesn’t get nearly enough attention in iGaming forums, the selection here is wildly well-varied.
You’ll find Evolution Gaming-powered roulette and blackjack tables, three card poker, Texas Hold ‘Em-style games, and a lot more. Of course, there’s a fair few weird and wonderful additions, too – like Football Studio Live; a two-card game that revolves around a football pitch-shaped table.
Much as I found in my recent Bet365 review, most slots here will accept bets starting from just $0.20.
And at the top-end of the scale? Well, there’s a handful of VIP blackjack and Lightning Roulette tables where the sky’s pretty much the limit.
Offering a cleverly-balanced cross-section of games from the cream of the crop of today’s software houses, BetRivers.com’s casino sub-site is certainly one to watch.
Just keep in mind that only Americans based in PA, WV and MI can currently play at these awe-inspiring games – the rest of you are limited solely to the sportsbook, I’m afraid.
Nope. BetRivers.com is a fully-fledged, real money iGaming site available in 15 US states. Conversely, BetRivers.net is a social casino that offers just-for-fun games in regions where real money gaming isn’t permitted.
BetRivers.com is legit one of the best brands around for sports betting, but it's casino sub-site often gets unfairly overlooked by slots-lovers. To be honest, I don’t know why, because it offers great games from some amazing developers, and is definitely worth checking-out.
It’s dead-easy. Just head to their site, click the yellow “Join Now” button and get your Government ID ready so you can punch in your details. A quick SMS verification is required, then – ping – you’re in.
As I said at the very beginning of this review, BetRivers.com is something of a hot topic right now – just look at any sports betting subreddit and you’ll see a lot of talk; some good, some bad.
Well, from where I’m standing, the good outweighs the bad by a country mile. Why? Well, BetRivers.com is legit and licesned in a staggering 15 different US states, it offers some of the best sports live-streaming tools and multi-device compatibility I’ve seen, and a well-balanced portfolio of Vegas-inspired casino games to boot.
Sure, the casino app can occasionally feel a bit overbearing, and withdrawal times ain’t the best on some payment options, but if you play all your casino games on the app instead of the website, and stick to a fast-acting withdrawal methods like PayPal, you’ve basically already obliterated all BetRivers’ potential flaws.
