Caesars Review for December 2024: My Honest Review of Caesars

Caesars is an almighty betting brand that takes a “divide and conquer” approach to its iGaming offerings – which are split across separate sportsbook and casino sub-sites. But does this slightly peculiar set-up really work?

In today’s Caesars review, I’ll wax lyrical about how yes – it does. Caesars is a platform that places organization front-and-center of the user-experience, offering consistently solid odds to sports bettors on Caesars Sportsbook, and carefully-selected slots games to casino fans over on Caesars Palace Casino. Here’s what you need to know about the brand’s bonuses, functionality, licenses, and more.

Bonuses – separate soirees for sports and casino bettors

As I already took great pains to point out in that intro, the first thing you need to know about Caesars is that its sportsbook and casino are hosted on two separate sites.

Now, this has led to a bit of confusion among some bettors on Reddit and the like, but whatever you make of the set-up, there’s one undeniable benefit of the separation – and that’s that folk like you and I have two different Caesars promo code offers to choose from.

Usability – Caesars is faff-free to use

The landing pages for Caesars Sportsbook and Caesars Palace Casino are… incredibly similar. After all, the two come under the same “Caesars Entertainment” umbrella and have like-for-like software doing the legwork.

Right off the bat, you’ll be greeted by a squeaky-clean site with no-nonsense black text on a white background, and an equally straight-to-the-point drop-down box asking you to select your state. Once done, you’ll be taken to the main dashboard of your desire – and it’s at this point where the banners on Caesars Sportsbook turn green for some reason…

Generally, I found Caesars is legit a breeze to navigate. The sportsbook ain’t too cluttered or frustrating to fiddle with, displaying live odds on the left, quick-links to different sports at the top, and betting slips on the right – which are painless to add to and edit. As for the casino, that site goes for conventional game grids and simple links for conflicting game genres. Everything loads-up fast, too; though sadly there’s no search engine for pinning down individual games.

If, for whatever wild reason, you find yourself accidentally in the wrong place, you can flick back and forth between the sportsbook and casino sites by scrolling to the bottom of the page and hitting “Caesars Sportsbook” or “Caesars Palace Casino” under the “More from Caesars” tab at any time – in eligible states, of course…

Can you download a Caesars app?

As is the case with most massive, monolithic betting sites like Caesars, yes there are apps available – though again, it’s a case of having to download a separate app here depending on whether you want to bet with Caesars Sportsbook, or spin Vegas-style slots games with Caesars Palace Casino. There are separate versions for Android and iOS, too, though I learned the easy way that the direct download links from Caesars’ sites automatically take you to the right place.

With the sportsbook version, I found usability to be… pretty much identical to the Caesars Sportsbook site, save for the fact that they’ve ditched some of those random green backgrounds for a much crisper gold-on-white theme (or gold-on-black if you’re a night mode goon).

Caesars is legit super-intuitive in its approach to the sportsbook app – individual icons have been spruced-up to look like IG story-inspired circles here, which I felt added a nice touch of familiarity to the interface; super-welcoming for new bettors. In terms of actually adding to or altering your betting slips, everything’s the same as the web-version.

It's a similar story over on Caesars Palace Casino – you’ll find yourselves looking at what’s basically a squashed-down version of the website, with scrollable carousels for different game genres. One HUGE improvement here, though, is that the app does have a game search engine. Woohoo!

My Caesars review of the payment options up-for-grabs

All’s coming-up-strong on the bonus front, then – and the brand’s sites and apps are easy-to-use, too (once you’ve gotten your head around which app does what, of course), but what about Caesars’ payment methods?

Well, as I reckon you’ll all be delighted to hear that there aren’t any major differences between Caesars Sportsbook and Caesars Palace Casino here. That’s right – I found that the payment terms laid-out on the brand’s overarching “Caesars Entertainment” site appear to cover both platforms. For simplicity’s sake, here’s a nifty lil table outlining the options available. Note the fact some banks and e-wallets are supported on deposits only

MasterCardYes.No.
DiscoverYes.No.
Online bank transferYes.Yes.
PayPalYes.Yes.
ACH e-checkYes.Yes.
PayNearMeYes.Yes.
Apple PayYes.Yes.
SkrillYes.Yes.

If you’ve a need for speed, Caesars is legit an awesome place to play. Both Caesars’ sites are capable of processing deposits instantly, and withdrawals within 72 hours-or-less – though in my experiences, I found PayPal and Apple Pay cash-outs tended to come through within just 24-hours.

When it comes to limits, most payment options set a $20 minimum withdrawal limit, but upper caps can vary – with PayPal letting you withdraw up to $10,000 at a time, and online bank transfers being limited to half that, so be careful which cash-out option you pick.

Oh, and bettors take heed: there are a few easily-missed state-level restrictions in-play here. PayPal and ACH e-check aren’t supported in NV, for example, while you’ll be barred from depositing via Discover Card in NJ and IA.

Whether you need help fixing a lil payment problem or you’ve been thrown-off by some of Caesars’ casino game T&Cs, my Caesars review found that both the brand’s platforms serve-up some stellar customer support.

From either site, simply scroll to the bottom of any web page and hit “Help” for a speedy(ish) boarding pass to the contact center.

On Caesars Sportsbook, you’ll need to select your state and enter your name and email address to actually see the support options available – which I found to be a bit of a faff – but once you’re through, it’s plain-sailing. You’ll automatically be connected to a chatbot that’ll link you with a real person once you’ve answered a few quick questions.

Over on the casino site, the service dash is a little simpler – there’s a direct live chat link, for example. Telephone support is available from 8am to 12am ET, too, while you’ll also spot an FAQs section that’s stuffed full of useful stuff for noobs.

For me, I found live chat to be the best option on both sites. “Betty” seemed to be who I got put in touch with most of the time, and she generally responded to most of my queries within a few minutes or less. Not half bad, eh?

Licensing – Caesars is legit. I mean… how could a brand this big not be?

To backtrack a bit, both Caesars Sportsbook and Caesars Palace Casino come under the “Caesars Entertainment” umbrella – the very same brand best-known for its iconic Las Vegas and Atlantic City resort hotels.

Licensing-wise, it’s a similar story here to what I found in my recent BetMGM review – Caesars is completely legal in the US but only in the select few states where the brand’s been able to obtain local licenses.

At time of writing, Caesars Sportsbook is regulated by the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement, The AZ Department of Gaming, and a ton of others, while Caesars Casino only has the green-light in four US states – and that’s MI, NJ, PA and WV.

Only those aged 21+ can play at either site and, of course, it’s completely on you to double-check whether the brand’s legal in your backyard before you bet – though due to the minor obsession with “select your state” drop-down boxes, it is virtually impossible to access the site from an off-limits region.

From a security viewpoint, Caesars uses SSL encryption and 2FA, which without getting too nerdy here, basically just means your data’s protected like Fort Knox.

Not only will you be as safe as houses at Caesars, you’ll also be able to take advantage of bountiful bonuses here by way of the Caesars Palace Rewards program.

Much like the VIP program BetRivers offers, which I detailed in my recent BetRivers.net review, this is a levels-driven program powered by all-important loyalty points – where every casino bet or sports wager brings you a bit closer to unlocking extra-special rewards.

As Caesars is a stickler for splitting everything into two categories, there are two kinds of loyalty points for you to keep track of here. “Reward Credits” can be redeemed for bonuses, sports tickets, swanky dining experiences and even weekend getaways, while “Tier Credits” will simply help you climb the levels ladder.

Naturally, you can browse slightly more down-to-earth odds boost and jackpot-style promotions by hitting the “Promos” button at the bottom of either the Caesars Sportsbook or Caesars Palace Casino site, too.

Caesars Sports Betting

Solid market choice

If you’ve a sports betting market in mind, my Caesars review basically found that you’ll find it here. The brand offers anything from must-have basketball, football and hockey markets (MLB or NHL, anyone?) to tennis and golf odds, and even a handful of racing numbers.

I didn’t find anything really niche here, like I did in my latest Bet365 review, but Caesars always felt pretty all-encompassing in terms of major sports leagues. The well-packaged dashboard makes it mad-easy to scroll through different sports, too and chopping and changing your betting slips is a cinch. As for the odds? Oh boy…

Epic odds

Odds are competitive across the board – which might sound like a generalization, but it’s actually getting real hard these days to find a bookmaker that’s equally competitive on, say, Premier League soccer as it is on NBA basketball events.

I found a slight bias toward American and Latin American sports, with most odds-boosts and bonuses branded-up as “USA All The Way” promotions, or offering supercharged numbers on Copa America at the time of writing. Check the scrolling “Quick Picks” banner at the bottom of the dash for today’s top deals.

Live betting? Of course.

For me, Caesars is legit a real trailblazer in this category, offering live odds on pretty much all its markets, which let me tell you, ain’t something I see often.

Minor odds changes are automatically updated, so you’ll never miss out when a +105 becomes a +110. Functionality is hassle-free, too – you know that betting slip on the right-hand side of the page? That very same one that’s used for regular betting? Just add to that.

Fair-and-friendly limits

I had a real good dig around the “House Rules” when penning this Caesars review and found out a few things you definitely ought to be aware of.

You can wager anything from $0.10 to $1,000,000. Wowzers. That said, there is a chance management might intervene if you become something of a frequent high-roller. It’s also worth noting that some odds-boost promos might sometimes come with wagering requirements.

My Caesars Sportsbook review’s final takeaway…

Here’s what’s what. The odds are ace, all the top markets are covered and right off the bat, and you can claim an up to $1,000 bonus if your first bet loses. Go have your fun, yeah?

Caesars review FAQs

🚫 How old must I be to play online at Caesars Palace Casino?

There’s a 21+ limit in force – and this applies regardless of the legal iGaming age in your state.

⚾ Which sports can I bet on with Caesars Sportsbook?

You’ll find MLB, NBA, NFL, NHL and all the other all-important sports market acronyms here. You can even bag a sports bonus.

🤔 Is Caesars legit?

Caesars’ brand rep is pretty much second-to-none. The name’s been around decades, but whether you can legally play at their Caesars Palace Casino or Caesars Sportsbook apps depends entirely on your state.

My fully-fledged Caesars review conclusion…

I’ve thrown a lot of info at you here, so I guess you guys want me to take a step back and reveal whether, when all’s said and done, I’d really recommend Caesars to sports betting and casino enthusiasts now? Well, here’s my two cents.

Caesars Sportsbook is a neatly-organized, no-nonsense platform bolstered by a great sign-up bonus and exceptionally good odds. Customer service could certainly spruced-up a bit, but for me the current set-up is by no means bad enough to sour the all-round user experience.

As for Caesars Palace Casino, you’re looking at an equally nicely-packaged piece of kit, characterized by carefully-selected, high-end games, fast loading times and excellent functionality whether you’re playing via the website or app.

Ultimately, then, both platforms are a blast – and they’ve the almighty brand reputation to boot. If signing up with either today, don’t forget to claim your bonus.
