Was I confident in the legitimacy of DragonBet?

My first port of call for this DragonBet review was to make sure the underlying brand was legit. I did this by checking things like its gambling license and security practices.

DragonBet operates under UK Gambling Commission license number 64908. It is a legitimate brand, and nothing I saw changed my opinion on that. It also has decent transparency about its operations - it is owned by DragonBet Limited, which is a company registered in Cardiff, Wales. For support, I mainly used the live chat. You start by speaking to an AI chabot, just like I did in my Pricedup review, but there is the option to speak to humans. I found both the AI and human support helpful, and they were quickly able to resolve the queries I had. Email support should be available too, and there is an FAQ section which explains the basics about the site.

Security

I had no problems or concerns about the site security - SSL encryption is used for all data transfers, and when I created this DragonBet review, they had an active SSL certificate from Google Trust Services. There is also a decent responsible gambling setup, with self-help links and advice on most pages, plus responsible gambling tools that you can use to help keep your gambling fun.

I was able to make deposits and withdrawals using Visa, MasterCard, Apple Pay, and Maestro. It has a large slot collection

With my Vegasnova review, I found a solid desktop website that was easy to use, and I can report the same with DragonBet. I think the theme is meant to relate to Welsh mythology and dragons, and while it isn’t particularly inspiring, I do like the red, black, and white color scheme - it makes for great text readability.

The desktop website also has excellent usability and a dual menu setup. Along the top, you’ve got a horizontal menu that has links to the main sections of the site, i.e. the casino, live casino, sportsbook, and in-play betting. Then, depending on which of these menus you have highlighted, the left-hand side menu will change appropriately. For instance, with the sportsbook selected, you get a list of the sport categories.

It’s just logical and easy to use, and I also found the site to be technically advanced - the loading speeds are great, there’s no missing content, and all the features like customer support and banking work fine.

DragonBet mobile apps - a mixed affair

There are two DragonBet mobile apps, and before downloading them myself, I checked out reviews from other customers. The Google Play Store version has only a 2.9 star rating and some scathing comments - people complaining about withdrawal times etc. I took these reviews on board, but I also tried the app for myself with an open mind.

I got on really well with the Android version - from a usability perspective it’s great and it works just as well as the desktop site. In terms of withdrawal processing - I didn’t really see any issues either. Ultimately, the processing time will depend on which withdrawal method you use, but for me, the average was 1-3 business days which is acceptable.
