FanDuel fans far and wide spout serious praise over this big-name brand’s Daily Fantasy Sports (DFS) offerings. But in today’s FanDuel review, I’ll be taking a look at the site’s sometimes-skipped-over sports and casino sides.
Allow me to start-out by saying that, if you’re into amazing sportsbook bonuses and live streams, you’re gonna love it here – and equally so if top-of-the-rung casino software is your jam. Anyhow, here’s my take on the operator’s bonuses and general usability. Naturally, I’ve included bits on the brand’s payment options and customer support, too.

I’m gonna kick today’s guide off by talking about bonuses. As you’d expect of any iGaming household name like this one, FanDuel’s more than happy to grant first-timers a bonus – or should I say bonuses, as there are two potential offers on the table. Off to a good start then, eh?
If you want my full write-up on what’s what, you’ll need to read my FanDuel fantasy promo code review. But basically, how it works is simple – visit the site as a FanDuel virgin, select “Sportsbook” or “Casino”, and depending on your raison d'être, and you’ll be offered one of the following:
Welcome bonus offer | What you get | Important T&Cs |
---|---|---|
Sportsbook bonus | $200 in bonus bets when you make a cash bet of $5+. |
|
Casino bonus | 200 bonus spins + $1,000 in bonus bets returned on any first-day losses. |
|
A bit like an order from Amazon Prime, both bonuses come neatly-packaged and are distributed real quickly – though there’s a bit more in the box than you might expect, particularly when it comes to T&Cs. Both offers have a $10 deposit requirement, for example, while free spins are locked to specific games like Cleopatra and Cash Eruption, and are awarded in four separate increments rather than all-in-one-go. Naturally, you’ll need to be wary of state-level restrictions and rules too.
Next-up, here’s a bit about how it feels to find your feet over at FanDuel. It’s just a personal opinion, but some sportsbooks really overdo it with their wild widgets and on-page ads in my view, so I was happy to see there’s none of that nonsense over on FanDuels’ sportsbook page, at least at the time of writing, anyway.
Land here, and my FanDuel review found you’ll need to start-out by selecting either “Sportsbook” or “Casino” and claiming the appropriate bonus. Pick the sports page, and you’ll be met by familiar-looking betting lines, with bet slips on the right and live odds in the center.
America’s self-proclaimed “#1 sportsbook” has some uber-cool features up-for-grabs, including one-click teaser and round-robin buttons on the bet-slips, and a “Popular” odds category that’ll take you straight to what’s hot. Finding anything from your account page to the latest bonuses ain’t no hardship, either.
But what did my FanDuel casino review make of the operator’s casino page? Well, everything’s equally welcoming here too, if not even more so. There’s some real clear instructions on how to claim your bonus on the initial landing page, and once you’ve selected your state you’ll immediately be able to fire-up fast-loading games from NetEnt and other big names without any download requirement. Unless, of course, you wanted an app, that is…
Oh yes indeedy. FanDuel’s sportsbook and casino offerings are bundled together as a convenient one-app-package – which you’ll have no trouble locating on the App Store or Google Play. The FanDuel app boasts stellar reviews averages of 4.9 and 4.5 stars respectively across these two platforms – and the ratings are well-deserved IMO.
The app itself is effectively a scaled-down version of the standard website, but with touch-screen functionality. Sportsbook-wise, the diminutive size of some of the buttons can get a bit messy on smaller smartphones if, like me, a lifelong love of pizza has left you with chubby fingers and thumbs. Casino-wise, though, I actually prefer the shrunken, more minimalist app interface – and thought it was cool that games can be full-screened with just one-click.
Things are about to heat up a bit now, because FanDuel’s dead-simple deposit process and quicker-than-average withdrawal times are without doubt some of my favorite things about this site.
99% of the time, I found that my deposits went through instantly here, while withdrawals (promised in 24-hours-or-less with most payment options) were consistently lightning-quick.
You’ll be able to pick from such broad options as VISA, MasterCard, PayPal, Play+ and bank transfer, as well as PayNearMe and a couple of others. But as I found in my recent Underdog Fantasy review, PayPal is usually fastest when it comes to both deposits and cash-outs.
Opting for an ACH e-check will see you hanging around the longest; though the max. withdrawal waiting time of five business days is still less than many competitors’ worsts. Fees ain’t usually charged at FanDuel’s end, but always check with your bank or e-wallet before kicking-off a transaction if you don’t want any fee-related surprises.
In the very unlikely event you run into issues with FanDuel (real unlikely, guys…), I found you won’t have to go full Karen demanding to speak to the manager here for a speedy resolution.
Why? Well, my FanDuel review was impressed to see that the brand serves-up a smorgasbord of contact options; the bulk of which are within reach 24/7. Of course, there are minor variations from state-to-state, but most of you guys can choose from:
So, which is best? Well, for me it’s live chat every time. Those guys seem to always reply in one-hour-or-less, which trumps email support’s 24-hours-or-less by quite some way. As for the tel. hotline, it’s great, but please be wary of potential fees if you’re calling from out-of-state.

Right. FanDuel is of course a huge and widely-respected iGaming brand. It stands alongside DraftKings as one of the biggest, most broadly accessible DFS sites in the US, as pointed out in my recent DraftKings daily fantasy review.
But we’re not talking about DFS today, are we? On a sports and casino front, there is a sizeable number of FanDuel legal states. FanDuel is licensed and regulated in a seemingly ever-growing number of US states, though the FanDuel Sportsbook is currently available in many more regions than the casino site, the latter being limited to just PA, NJ, WV and MI for now.
Sign-up in any of these four states, and you’ll get access to both the casino and the sportsbook. In all other available states listed earlier on, though, it’s sportsbook only for now.
FanDuel shapes-up nicely reputation and security-wise, too. A little bird tells me they’re eCogra-verified and have struck a few big wins at the Global Gaming Awards in recent years. They also offer state-of-the-art SSL encryption to safeguard all yer data. Nice.
So, FanDuel is legit and staffed by friendly folk to boot. As we saw earlier, they also offer two pretty sweet tailored bonuses to sports and casino bettors. But is that it, bonus-wise?
Well, one thing I found FanDuel’s certainly lacking for now is a loyalty program – they just… don’t seem to offer one at all at the time of writing.
Perhaps that’s a deal-breaker for you, I don’t know? But for me, I was more than satisfied by the eye-catching range of other bonuses I found on the site’s “Promo” page. Here are a few highlights I spied at the time of writing:
FanDuel rotates “Same Game Parlay” offers that are good for a 30% boost on three-leg same game parlays. At the time of writing, this offer was only playable on MLB bets, but who knows when that might change?
Slightly batty slot machine “World of Wonka” currently qualifies for free bonus spins under the terms of FanDuel’s “Reward Machine” bonus, which I’m pretty sure also shakes-up its T&Cs often, so always double-check which games qualify before playing.
Click through to FanDuel’s sportsbook, and I reckon you’ll be as surprised as I was by the brand’s far-reaching range of betting markets and options.
You can enjoy parlays, combos and weird and wonderful player props on anything from the NBA and Premier League soccer to hockey, auto racing, boxing and then some. What impressed my FanDuel review most, though, was how simple it is to stack-up some seriously complex bets on top of one another all on the same slip.
Combine this functionality with the 30% parlay boosts promotions I mentioned earlier, and you’re looking at a superb sportsbook for any more experienced bettors among you who like going all-out with your combos.
You know what? Yes. Of course, like at most sportsbooks, you’ll generally get better odds on some sports than others – Albania v Spain’s hot UEFA Euros game at the time of writing was offering +600 on Albania to win and -230 on Spain, for example, which was pretty much in-line with anything I saw advertised elsewhere on the same game. The latest MLB odds, however, were a bit of a mixed bag.
Unlock an odds-boost or parlay promotion and my FanDuel review found that you can really hot things up here. But it isn’t all about complex betting at FanDuel – singles are consistently competitive across most sports, and of course, your $200 sports bonus bets have more single bet-oriented terms, too.
Ever heard of FanDuel TV? If not, you’re missing a beat – trust me. FanDuel is legit probably the best bookmaker around for live-streaming, offering seemingly non-stop coverage of NBA, MLB, racing and pretty much whatever sport’s in-season.
FanDuel TV’s available on cable and as a separate app, but if you don’t fancy farting about with that, I found you can place live bets or stream most of the biggest leagues directly from the regular FanDuel Sportsbook iOS or Android app. There’s also a “Watch Now on Web” button on the website.
With a max daily withdrawal cap of $1,000,000 in most US states, FanDuel is legit real high-roller-friendly. However, be aware that some states set more stringent limits than others, and you might have to complete an online form if you want yours raised. Equally, you can self-impose lower-than-normal limits on yourself daily, weekly or monthly via the “User Limits” tab.
Does FanDuel have it all? Well, almost. The brand’s undoubtedly a 10 out of 10 when it comes to live-streaming and high-roller-oriented betting. But as I said previously, button sizes could definitely do with being reduced a tad on the app. Aside from that, though, this is a seriously good sportsbook.
For a brand that originally cut its teeth in the DFS arena, FanDuel ain’t messing around with its casino software. It’s clear these guys have really put their feelers out to source games from some of the top developers in the biz, with popular titles from NetEnt, Microgaming and IGT all up-for-grabs on the main dashboard page.
Digging a little deeper, I quickly discovered FanDuel offers games from Everi and NextGen, too – that’s five of the market’s biggest software names represented in total. Add to that a handful of in-house developed offerings, and you’re looking at a pretty solid software offering here.
NetEnt, IGT and the like are proper heavy-hitters, so I’m sure it won’t surprise you to hear that FanDuel’s game portfolio is packed-full of top-tier stuff. There’s no bad graphics or slow loading times here – just high-rung, state-of-the-art action, with hundreds of titles to choose from.
You’ll find classic reels like Bonanza Falls and Extra Chilli, stacked on top of board game and movie-inspired titles like Monopoly Money Grab and Peaky Blinders Jackpot Royale. My FanDuel review found that progressive jackpots are offered in spades here, actually – many with a “Daily Jackpot” feature tacked-on, too. Play a game with this feature enabled, and you could be in with a chance of landing prizes that tick-up in value throughout the day, and are always distributed to top-ranking players come nightfall.
Yup – you’ll find a modest selection of blackjack and roulette titles, many of which have been developed by FanDuel themselves in-house. There’s a few poker and baccarat titles on the cards, too, all available in high and low limit variations.
One thing that really wowed my FanDuel review was just how easy it is to find games that suit your ideal limits here.
It would appear that every single game in the portfolio comes with clearly-listed limits right below its thumbnail, like, before you even launch the game, which saves a lot of clicking around IMO. Minimums start around $0.50, while max bets of up to $10,000 are accepted on some of the more high-roller-oriented tables.
For me, FanDuel’s casino is a real breath of fresh air, thanks to its no-nonsense game limits and very selective approach to software and game choices. It’s quality all-round here, and I’m real hopeful there’ll be some more state launches in the pipeline. Fingers crossed, eh?
If you’ve spotted something called “FanDuel TV” over on FanDuel’s website, this is basically just the name these guys give to their sports live-streaming services, which also come with commentary from time to time. It’s offered as an actual TV channel via some US cable networks, and is also available as an intuitive smart TV or Apple TV app. It’s the ideal way to watch your favorite games as you bet.
FanDuel is legit and licensed in a whole bunch of US states, but you’ll need to be 21+ to legally bet here regardless of which green-lit region you live in. Expect to upload your ID for verification at some point, so no VPNs, yeah?
Once you’ve selected “Sportsbook” or “Casino” from the main page, you can kick-start your preferred bonus claims process by either clicking the ad for the sports/casino offer, or hitting “Sign-up” and filling-out a brief registration form.
There ain’t really such a thing as a perfect sportsbook-come-casino, but I’d certainly argue FanDuel comes close. Well… kinda close.
Right here’s a brand that offers competitive sportsbook odds across most major markets, some pretty sick live betting and streaming options via its “FanDuel TV” feature, and an incredible casino offering stacked-up full of awesome games from NetEnt and Microgaming. Oh, and did I mention how good those cash-out times are?
Of course, it’d be nice to see the casino site launch in a few more US states, and their sportsbook app could certainly be a bit more intuitive if it increased the size of some of its buttons. But generally, this is a well-packaged bit of iGaming kit that offers everything you’ll ever need. Speedy cash-outs, anyone?
