GOATbox is a new mystery box site where you pull items from digital boxes and ship them to your home. Here, you will find a wide range of themed boxes, including Apple products, sneakers, Star Wars, and gaming PCs.
In this GOATbox review, I’ll walk you through my box opening experience, so you get a sneak peek into how it all works. While GOATbox allows you to try out demo openings, think of this guide as another demo alternative, where you get to see exactly what I pulled. GOATbox is a mystery box site where you pick boxes based on a theme, and you open them to reveal your surprise item. The unboxing is done instantly via a digital animation, with your item then appearing in your Shopping Bag. From here, you can decide whether you want to ship the physical items to your home or sell for the value in credits. Here’s a little step-by-step guide on how to buy your first mystery box:
Use the banners here to go to the GOATbox Shop and purchase credits
Browse the available mystery boxes and select your favorite
You will be given a choice of 9 grids, representing a mystery box
Choose a grid and complete the purchase using your credits
Your box will be opened instantly to reveal your prize
The item is added to your bag, where you can either ship it or sell it
If you decide to sell your item, it will be exchanged for credits to the same value. For example, if you opened a prize that’s worth $4.99, then you will get $4.99 in credits. You can then use your credits to go again and open another mystery box.
Right off the bat, you are given 9 free boxes to open, which is part of your welcome bonus. After tapping ‘Claim’ to activate my GOATbox bonus, I was shown the Sneakers Starter-themed boxes. These appeared to be the only available boxes to open through the welcome offer, so I immediately opened my 9 free boxes. Inside my 9 free boxes were:
Next up, I was also given a one-off bonus of 50% off select credit packages. Depending on the package I chose, I would get at least a 10% discount, with the packages starting from $24.99.
| Credits | Package Cost | Discount |
|---|---|---|
| 27.50 | $24.99 | 10% |
| 48 | $39.99 | 20% |
| 97.50 | $74.99 | 30% |
| 140 | $99.99 | 40% |
| 375 | $249.99 | 50% |
GOATbox has opted for a minimalist site, so there’s certainly no clutter here. The site has been organized well, with everything you need featuring on the homepage. The bulk of the homepage is a breakdown of all the available mystery boxes, with a main menu sitting across the middle to help you locate your preferred theme. Sitting at the top of the page, you will see your credits balance and profile, where you can manage your account settings.
The sidebar doesn’t contain much, but you will find a link to the credits shop and rewards. So, while the sidebar feels quite empty, there’s actually no reason why there should need to be any more links. I like that GOATbox has kept things simple, as it helps beginners to make their way through the site without feeling overwhelmed. Instead of using gimmicks and lots of animations to lure you in, GOATbox allows its mystery boxes to speak for themselves.
When it comes to opening your mystery boxes, everything runs smoothly. You are shown a grid-style format that represents your boxes, which then rotate like slot reels to reveal your prize. All the other boxes open, too, so you can see that the odds were fair. You can also opt for the Quick Opening if you want to speed it up. While the unboxing usually takes just a few seconds, this way you won’t go through the animations - just straight to the good stuff.
So, you know by now that I pulled a pair of shoelaces and some vouchers as part of my welcome bonus. This was worth $7.31 in total, which I redeemed for credits to give me another shot at opening other items. This allowed me to truly test out the unboxing, to see what types of items crop up. So, here’s a complete guide of what I opened, to give you an idea:
| Type of Mystery Box | What I Pulled |
|---|---|
| Lifestyle Apple | Blue voucher worth $0.02 |
| Supreme Beast | Gold voucher worth $2.30 |
| PC Bundle | Gold voucher worth $4.00 |
| Star Wars - Jedi LEGO | Blue voucher for $0.01 |
As you can see, I was consistently pulling vouchers, apart from when I opened the shoelaces through one of my free boxes. That said, you can see just how far my welcome bonus went. I didn’t buy any credits at all to open any of the mystery boxes above, and I still have credit left in my balance to go again. Even if you keep pulling vouchers as I did, you can keep going provided that there’s a box of the same value available.
At GOATbox, you won’t buy the mystery boxes directly. Instead, you will buy credits in packages that are then used to get your chosen boxes. GOATbox accepts a great range of payment methods, covering both traditional methods and cryptocurrencies. For fiat methods, you can pick from Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. The last two options are ideal if you are using a mobile device, as they can integrate perfectly for one-click payments.
Alternatively, you can choose between a range of cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, Tether, and Solana, just to name a few.

When it comes to the delivery of your items, there are some shipping fees to pay. However, this is determined once your order is processed and is calculated based on your location and the size of your item. Either way, GOATbox will contact you to arrange the shipment, so there are no surprises when it comes to shipping costs. On average, your delivery will take anywhere between a few days and 30 days, depending on product availability and suppliers.
Sadly, I think this is where GOATbox needs a bit of improvement. Don’t get me wrong, the support I received throughout my GOATbox review was high quality; there’s just not enough channels. So, let’s get the bad bits out of the way first, eh? At the moment, there’s a FAQ page and email support. While both are excellent, I would like to see a live chat rolled out, as it would be perfect for players who may have more urgent enquiries. It would also be pretty good to see a telephone hotline added, even if it’s for payment-related queries only.
For now, there are two ways to access the FAQs. It’s slightly annoying, because depending on how you open them, you will get slightly different FAQs. So, the FAQ button in the sidebar actually takes you to a smaller FAQ page. I recommend scrolling to the bottom of the homepage, where you will find a whole stack of helpful FAQs.

What stood out the most about GOATbox is its transparency in opening the mystery boxes. First of all, before you buy a mystery box with your credits, you will have access to the price, list of possible items, the chance of finding each item, and the value of each item. You are given a choice of 9 boxes for each theme, and regardless of which one you open, you will see all of them get revealed, with your chosen box highlighted. This is so you can see what’s in the other boxes, so nothing is hidden. Each box is truly random and is powered by a randomization system.
As far as your protections are concerned, GOATbox is great. The site uses SSL encryption software, so your personal information and banking details are secure. As you enter your details, it’s scrambled to prevent the chances of your data being leaked.
Well, that’s it. That’s a wrap on my review of GOATbox. As you can see, it’s an excellent mystery box site that will appeal to all types of players. Whether you are interested in pulling Apple products, trading cards, gaming PC tech, beauty items, or even a pair of sneakers, all of this is available, and so much more. I spent a lot of time on the site, interacting with all the features and trying out the boxes. From what I could see, everything runs smoothly and is free from glitches.
I thought the welcome bonus was superb, and it fueled several mystery box pulls, far beyond the initial 9 free boxes I got. I could either ship my shoelaces or exchange them for credits. I chose to get some extra credits to test the boxes even further, which allowed me to open plenty more. So, if you are thinking about testing GOATbox, I highly recommend it. All you need to do from here is tap the on-page banners, and you are good to go.
Yes, there sure is. You can do a demo opening to learn how it all works, which is available to use as many times as you wish.
What I liked about GOATbox is that you can choose the Quick Open or Open All buttons if you want to speed things up. Instead of watching the grids rotate and reveal one by one, you will get an instant reveal.
It’s unclear whether or not the theme of your free boxes will change. I was given the sneaker boxes, which may be the same for all new players.
