What is MyBets.us?

This is a sweepstakes casino, which means there is no real-money gambling involved. Instead, players use a dual virtual currency system of Gold Coins (GC) and Sweeps Coins (SC) to play the casino-style games. You can use the Gold Coins to play any of the games just for fun. Then you can use your Sweeps Coins to play the game in sweepstakes mode, which gives you the opportunity to collect redeemable SC. If you meet the redemption requirements of a 1x playthrough and you collect at least 100 redeemable SC, then you can redeem them for real prizes such as cash and gift cards.

If you’re familiar with other sweepstakes casinos, then you know you usually get both GC and SC as part of a welcome bonus (see my Spinsly review for an example). This brand does things a little differently, as it offers new players 250,000 Gold Coins and 25 Free Spins in sweepstakes mode on the Pandarific slot game.

This is a great way to welcome new players, as many similar brands offer around 100,000 GC, so this bonus is above average. As far as the Free Spins, anything you win is subject to a 1x playthrough requirement, which is fair. The only thing I’d like to see is a little more freedom regarding where you can use those free spins, but aside from that I was very pleased with the MyBets.us bonus.

Yes, and I’ll cover them quickly here, but you can read about them in my full bonus review. Here’s an overview:

If you’ve played casino-style games on similar types of sites in the past, then this site should feel familiar with its overall layout and design. The site itself is easy to navigate, and everything seems to load quickly on both mobile phones and laptops.

Having said that, I did run into a couple of issues. Now we’ve come to the part of my evaluation where I was thoroughly impressed with this brand. If you’ve read some of the other reviews on this site, such as the Elevyn review, then you know that customer support options are generally fairly limited on these sorts of gaming sites, and they often involve an artificial intelligence bot. That’s not the case here.

This brand offers a collection of FAQs that will answer your basic questions. But when there comes a time when you need human help, you’ll have the following options:

• Email support.
• Phone support.
• Live chat support.

I chose the live chat support, and an extremely helpful (human) representative answered my questions cheerfully, and the whole encounter only took about two minutes. Better yet, this brand doesn’t have you talk to an AI agent first, where you often have to beg for human support. Instead, the rep came on the chat immediately, which is very impressive!

Player safety and security: is MyBets.us legit?

This brand seems to prioritize its players’ safety. The excellent customer service is one piece of evidence, but you can also see it in the secure platform, the extensive terms and policies, and the fact that this brand offers player-safety tools and resources. These same items also point towards this brand being compliant with the law. For example, the site requires players to complete the Know Your Customer identity verification checks. In addition, the site carries a valid security certificate and encrypts any transmitted data, which shows concern for player security.

Having said all that, I do have two issues with this brand, I think perhaps these issues are related. First off, the brand isn’t transparent about who operates this site, and where that company is located. Secondly, I noticed that some games took me to a third-party website. There are some industry experts who believe that this site may simply be a white-label version of another brand, which would explain these issues.

Overall, after extensive research I do believe that MyBets.us is legit, but I will be monitoring the site, especially those games that redirect to a different website.

I’d like to see more transparency surrounding the company that operates the site, plus I’d like to see a lower redemption minimum, such as 50 SC instead of 100 SC. On the plus side, the gaming catalog is large, it includes a collection of original games, plus you can play table games inside the live-dealer casino. The welcome bonus is generous, plus you can pick up additional freebies daily. I’d like to see a referral program and loyalty rewards program, but perhaps they’ll be rolled out at a later date.
