Pokémon, One Piece, and sports card fans will want to read my Rips by Triumph review. This app offers a variety of packs, price points, bonuses, and a buyback feature that gives you 100% of the card’s value.
That’s not to say there’s no room for improvement with this app. Customer service through the “live support” feature is lacking, as you deal with an AI agent. There’s no debit or credit card option for payments, except via an e-wallet. But there’s a lot to love about this app, so read on to get all the details…

Yes, this brand starts by welcoming new users with a free Pokémon Starter Pack if you fund your account with $10 or more. You can find and claim this promotion under the “Rewards” tab in the app. This is a good bonus, as other mystery box and card-ripping sites offer discounts rather than free packs. Some of these sites don’t offer anything at all.
Yes, you can collect additional free packs referring your friends to join the site. When your friend joins, both you and the friend get a free pack. The site doesn’t list any restrictions, such as your friend needing to purchase a certain amount before you get your free pack.
In addition to the referral rewards, the brand also states that they may offer discounts, bonus credits, free packs, and other offers from time to time. They may also provide incentives such as card upgrades. You can check your account for offers under the “Rewards” tab, as well as checking the email you used to sign up.
Yes, this is an eight-tier, multi-level program that starts at the “Starter” level and goes up to the “Apex” level. You’ll need to collect 7500 XP to go from Starter tier to the Bronze tier. As you move through the levels (Starter 2, Starter 3, and Starter 4), you’ll get one-time rewards in the form of a cash drop, although amounts are unknown. The same is true of all levels and tiers, with your cash drops at each level getting bigger as you move upward through the program. You also get an increasingly larger recurring rewards multiplier as you ascend.
The recurring rewards include a daily cash drop, weekly free pack reward, and monthly free pack reward. You’ll need to buy and rip packs every day to collect the daily reward. Likewise, you need to be active to collect your weekly and monthly rewards.
While the brand is clear that you need to collect 7,500 XP to get from the first to second tier, it doesn’t tell you exactly what you need to do to collect 1 XP. For now, I’ll reserve judgment regarding whether it’s worth pursuing these rewards since I’m unsure of the effort required to reach each tier. However, I do appreciate the daily cash drop that’s available to everyone. As long as you’re ripping cards, it’s nice to get rewarded for it!
While you’ll initially go to the website to download the app or read the help documentation, that’s about all you can do on the site. Creating your account, funding it, collecting promos, and ripping packs all happen on the app, and these tasks are easy to do since the app is clear and thoughtfully laid out. The app also performs well, as I didn’t experience any lags or other issues.
The app features a dark background, which makes the boldly colored packs and animations pop off your screen. The digital ripping animations are realistic, and I found the experience fun. You can change the settings in the app to include (or not include) sound and haptics. I recommend leaving both of them on, as they add a nice touch to the experience.
Both Android and iOs versions of the app are available, and both apps get high ratings in their respective stores. The Android app is rated at 4.5 stars, while the iOS app gets 4.7 stars. My only complaint is that I’d like to see the option to flip back and forth between a dark and light theme, but that’s not a dealbreaker by any means. The support option is also a little wonky in the app, which I’ll explain later.
Your options include a variety of packs with price points starting at just $1, which makes it affordable for most anyone. Every pack is transparent. All you have to do is tap on the one that interests you, and you’ll see recent hits and the available grails. You can choose a “Normal” or “HIgh” pack style, plus you can review the odds of pulling cards of a certain value. You can also tap on the available grails to see a set of facts about them.
Once you pull a card, you can keep it, have it shipped to you, or sell it back to the site for 100% of its fair market value (FMV). This feature is the key point that separates it from other card-ripping or mystery-box sites, as most give you 85% to 95% of FMV. In addition, your funds from sales are withdrawable. Compare that to the OpenThatPack review, where you can only get non-withdrawable site credits if you sell your card back to the site.
Here’s what to expect in terms of pack variety:
Currently, the app offers 12 Pokémon packs to choose from, with prices ranging from $1 to $5000. This is the biggest category, so Pokémon lovers are sure to find something that’s a good fit for their wallet. You’ll find both new and vintage cards. The grails start at $20 in the $1 Start Pack, and you can find Grails worth six figures in the Master pack. For example, I saw a Shining Gyrados-Holo worth $151,943, which was graded and slabbed.
There are 10 One Piece packs that range from $1 (Starter Pack) to $1000 (Ruby Pack). The grails are similar to the Pokémon packs, in that you can pull $20 grails out of the $1 Starter Pack. The Ruby pack has grails mostly worth around $10,000 to $20,000. There is one grail worth $49,500 – the Nami #106 Gem Mint 10. This is a rare championship serialized card.
You can choose from basketball, baseball, or football packs as follows:
The available grails in these packs are similar to the Pokémon and One Piece options. The more you pay for the pack, the higher the value of the grails inside. For example, the top basketball pack features a Dylan Harper 2025 Finest, #AU-17 Gem MT 10 card worth $73,385.
The only thing that’s missing here is a selection of soccer packs, which other sites offer. That’s not a dealbreaker for me, but it’s worth noting.
Overall, there are 40 packs to choose from across these categories at a variety of price points. I think the variety is much better than what you see on other sites, plus I love that you can sell cards back at 100% of their FMV.
Let’s look at the options for buying cards, withdrawing funds from sales, and shipping cards.
You can buy packs using Apple Pay, PayPal, Venmo, Google Pay, or popular cryptocurrency such as BTC and ETH. There are no fees for fiat currency, and the transactions process instantly. Cryptocurrency incurs network fees, and there may be delays depending on network congestion. Note that Apple Pay may only be available on iPhones, and Google Pay is for Android users.
I was surprised and a little disappointed that you can’t use a credit or debit card for payments, especially since one of the withdrawal options is via your debit card. If you want to use a card, you’ll need to use it indirectly through one of the e-wallet options.
Your withdrawal options include a bank transfer, debit card, PayPal, or Venmo. You can only withdraw the funds you’ve accumulated from card sales. The minimum withdrawal is $6, and you need to complete the identity verification checks first. Some withdrawals may incur a small processing fee, such as $1. E-wallet withdrawals are almost instant. Bank transfers can take up to five business days. Overall, the withdrawal policy is fast, fair, and reliable.
If you have one or more cards shipped to you, the shipping options, delivery dates, and shipping charges will vary depending on the package and your location. You are responsible for all shipping fees and taxes, and these fees will be transparent during the checkout process. You’ll need to pay the identity verification check before you can have anything shipped to you. These policies are similar to what you may have read about in the MrLoot review.

Your first stop if you need help is to check out the self-help documentation, which comes in the form of a set of FAQs. You can find this documentation on the website or through the app. On the app it’s hidden under “Settings.” These documents will help you with basic questions such as funding your account.
Your options for human support include contacting the team via email or using the in-app live support function. The live support function was run by an AI agent, and it forced you to select from topics. Even though it said “the team can also help,” there was no way to type in a specific question or ask for a team member. I am not sure if this is the way the support always works, or if live support was down when I tried to use it. Either way, I found it frustrating, especially since the app didn’t offer any explanation. This was a much different experience than the one I outlined in my TiltRips review.
The other option for support is to go through email, and that’s what I did to get my issue resolved. A support representative answered my email in less than half an hour, which is relatively fast for email support.
I will note that others reported good experiences with support. I agree that email support was quite good, but the live support option was frustrating. Hopefully my experience was just a glitch or a one-time issue.

Yes, this card-ripping site is legit and secure. The platform is operated by a company called Triumph TCG, LLC., which is a relatively well-known company. Not only does the company offer digital card ripping online, it also operates a brick and mortar shop in California. This is a contrast to similar sites – for example, if you’ve read my Beezie review, then you know that brand operates online only.
In addition to being operated by a reputable company, you can also see that Rips by Triumph is safe, compliant with the law, and it cares about user safety. The app itself is secure and encrypts all data, and the apps have also passed safety checks in the app stores.. The terms, conditions, and policies are detailed and in compliance with the law. The site also posts anti-money laundering policies as well as responsible purchasing policies.
I felt safe joining the site and purchasing packs, and I expect you will feel the same way.
This is one of the better card-ripping sites in my opinion. Some of its top features include the 40+ packs available, the pricing starting at just $1, and the fact that the site will buy your card back for 100% of the fair market value. I also appreciated the ongoing bonuses and rewards program. Active players can get daily packs as long as they keep ripping. On the downside, the “live” support was a rigid AI agent where I was unable to ask a question. Hopefully that was a glitch. Aside from that, I recommend this site to those who love ripping Pokémon, One Piece, or sports cards.
To get started, all you have to do is tap the brand’s banner on this page. Your free pack will be available to you just as soon as you claim it and complete the funding requirement!
It’s similar to a mystery box site, except this one focuses 100% on collectible cards. Compare that to what’s outlined in the HypeDrop review, where you can rip cards alongside opening mystery boxes that contain sneakers, fashion products, watches, and more.
You must be at least 18 years old.
Yes, you’ll need to verify your identity by uploading your government-issued identification, a selfie, and any other documentation that may be requested. This site first tries to verify your identity, but if that fails it goes to a manual review. This can take about 24 hours to complete. Be sure to complete this verification upfront, as you’ll need it to ship cards and withdraw funds.
