Topps Ripped isn’t your typical card rip site. Instead, it's a hub that covers everything you need to know about Topps Chrome. You can still buy cards from the site, but for all your ripping action, you’ll need Fanatics Collect.
The Topps Ripped site is well designed and packed with knowledge. It is easy to navigate, regularly updated, and provides quick links to the latest Topps add-ons. This includes the latest promotions, the Topps shop, Fanatics Collects, and downloadable apps. The latter lets you collect digital cards with fun as your focus. Time to find out more.

Let me begin by making it very clear that this review will not follow the same structure as my Beezie review. Beezie is a dedicated card rip site with all the typical card rip elements; Topps Ripped does not.
Instead, you’ll find that Topps Ripped is a one-stop shop for just about everything related to the popular card company. Here, I soon found that the site provides you with the latest news, reviews on upcoming drops, and quick links to other key areas, like its selection of fun-only apps and dedicated Topps shop.
Fortunately, those of you looking to get your hands on some of the latest Topps Chrome chase cards can still do so. You just won’t be ripping packs online at Topps Ripped. I’ll go into how this all works shortly, but this table covers the basics.
| Format | Explanation |
|---|---|
| Shop | You can follow the classic approach of purchasing Topps cards directly from the store. Click Shop, and you’ll find a separate window will open, allowing you to directly buy your preferred sets. |
| Apps | The apps are fun-only variations of a digital card rip site. They follow the same approach, but you’ll use virtual credits, rather than real cash. Your cards will also be stored in a digital binder/inventory. |
| Fanatics Collect | Topps Chrome is a huge part of the Fanatics Collect experience. Here, you will find that you can buy grails from the marketplace, watch live card breaks unfold, and purchase Instant Rips packs. |
Anyone interested in ripping cards has heard of Topps Chrome and is fully aware of its credibility within the market. With this, it is unsurprising that the Topps Ripped site and all associated features, apps, and products passed my initial vetting.
I found countless positive reviews of the play-for-fun apps, well-documented feedback on the Topps shop’s shipping costs and speeds, and Fanatics Collect has the security checks you would expect from any credible platform.
With a quick explainer and security confirmed, I'll get straight into it. Here, I’ll cover all of the key features that help Topps' unique approach stand out from the pack.
As already established, you aren’t going to find card ripping options like those detailed in my HypeDrop review. You can, however, click on the Shop icon in the top right-hand corner off the Topps Ripped site before being redirected to the main Topps shop.
Here, you can click on the US site and soon open the doors to some serious Topps Chrome cards and sets. The website is clean, making the most of a black background, white and red text, and clear menus. Across the header, you’ll find links to popular sports and franchises, including:
A quick click on your preferred collectible card category then opens up current availability. This can include single cards, packs, and sets. The quick buy feature is handy for those looking to purchase popular sets before stock clears out, and there is also the chance to receive 2% FanCash for those with a Fanatics account. You can also find further reductions across the site, including multi-buy offers. When it comes to making your purchases, you’ll find all credible methods are accepted, including:
I also liked that the site covered shipping over $100, and you could expect to receive cards within 6-10 days of the sale expiring.

Next, you’ll find Fanatics Instant Rips is the place to be. I know this isn’t an official Topps product, but it is the destination to visit if you like the idea of watching live breaks or ripping packs digitally.
Getting started and claiming the welcome offer: Here, you can sign up online or through the dedicated app, unlocking a debut pack that is opened during your first live break. To claim, you won’t need a promo code, but will need to create a Fanatics account before joining a live stream and listening out for your username to be called.
Store, sell, or ship: With your debut pack ripped, you can then decide whether to make the most of the vault, fair shipping fees, or 90% sellback clause. The latter is great for getting straight back into the action, but do bear in mind that a 6% marketplace fee is also applied. With your shipping, there is a 1% - 3% fulfillment fee, and it takes up to 15 days for your cards to arrive.
Packs: When it comes to the range of packs available, it would be fair to say that Fanatics has just about all of you in mind. I found everything from limited edition drops and premium auctions to live card breaks and instant rips, covering Pokémon, major league sports, One Piece, and everything in between.
Ripping and breaking mechanics: You also have the choice of watching live card breaks through a dedicated stream, or opening packs in your own time through the Instant Rips section of the site. With Instant Rips, you’ll find the fun begins from just $25, with higher-end packs coming in at $2,500. Live breaks open up in a separate window, allowing you to join live shows and watch your cards being pulled in real time.
Purchases and withdrawal options: Fanatics has kept things nice and straightforward when it comes to funding the experience as well. I found you can soon link your PayPal or Zip accounts or use debit cards, credit cards, Apple Pay, or Google Pay. Those of you who have then sold through the Fanatics Collect site will find that withdrawals are possible through ACH and wire transfer. ACH is free, but you can expect to be charged $50 for anything sent via wire transfer.
Support: Hopefully, you don’t run into too many issues while working your way around Fanatics. However, if you do, then you’ll be pleased to hear that support isn’t too far away. Based on my recent review, you should expect to receive live support seven days a week between the hours of 8 am and 9 pm ET. Alternatively, you can make the most of the help center and online submission form. Naturally, live support provides you with the swiftest responses, but I was never waiting longer than 48 hours for a reply via email.

Ongoing promotions: As I found in my Clutchpacks review, ongoing promotions are a little sparse here. Arguably the best bonus is the refer-a-friend offer, which requires your referred friends to spend $25 before you both receive $25 in credits.
Alongside, you will also find a VIP program (Fanatics ONE), which ties all of Fanatics together. You begin as a ONE member, but can risk all the way to the invite-only rank of ONE Black. As you move on up through the tiers, you’ll unlock site credits, specialty event places, VIP invites, autograph sessions, and much more.
Lastly, you can look to grow your own digital collection through Topps’ very own card collecting apps. Before I go any further, it is important to mention that these apps are for fun-only, although you will find occasions where giveaways can lead to actual cards being won and shipped out.
For the most part, however, these work as a digital-only binder. You download your preferred app, receive your welcome credits or free packs and begin to reveal your hits. You can then log back in each day to unlock a daily reward. Again, this could include virtual credits or packs.
When you start to get duplicates, you’ll find that you can begin to trade with other members. There is no direct chat option, but you can put your cards up in the marketplace to trade with others, or you can forge “better” cards by adding a number of duplicates together to create a completely new card for your collection. Currently, Topps has the following apps for you to choose from that all follow this approach:
You may not rip cards at Topps Ripped directly, but there is no shortage of alternative ways to get your hands on those Topps Chrome grails. Based on my recent review, you can buy packs or sets directly from the Topps shop or visit Fanatics Collect to enjoy live card breaks or digital card rips. With breaks and rips, you can then decide whether you want to sell them back to Fanatics Collect or have them shipped out to you.
Of course, if you just like the idea of having some fun, you’ll find dedicated Topps apps allow you to engage without splashing any cash. Just remember you won’t be able to have these cards shipped out to you.
Yes. However, you won’t rip cards at Topps Ripped. Fanatics Collect is your destination for ripping Topps Chrome cards online. Alternatively, you can download one of the Topps apps and enjoy a fun-only digital approach.
Topps Chrome is well known for its major league coverage, but you will also find additional franchises like Marvel, Disney, and Star Wars.
Yes. You can either purchase cards directly from the Topps site or rip packs through the Fanatics Collect platform. Keep in mind that the Topps apps are designed for fun, and digital rips add only to a digital collection.
