It’s a Saturday accumulator with an international flavour and we kick off our multiple wager with SPAIN who are likely to overcome the challenge of Italy at the Santiago Bernabeu.
The Italians have a dilemma. Playing for the draw would simply mean Spain stay well ahead on goal difference, so the Azzurri have to go for a victory and that could mean gaps for La Roja to exploit.
Meanwhile the REPUBLIC OF IRELAND are likely to overcome the challenge of Georgia, with the boys in green keeping pace with Serbia at the top of their qualifying section.
The Irish pride themselves on having a strong defence and we’re expecting them to prove too strong for a side who have no chance of making it to the 2018 World Cup and a lack of motivation could be a problem.
SERBIA should make no mistake when they play against Moldova, with the Serbs having won the reverse fixture 3-0 even if they have wobbled in some of their other matches in Belgrade.
Serbia are just ahead of the Republic of Ireland and can ill-afford to make any mistakes if they’re to bank that top spot which automatically qualifies them for Russia.
Similarly, ALBANIA are likely to beat a Liechtenstein side who have become the whipping boys of the group, with all of their six games lost and twenty-four goals conceded.
The Albanians have had a mixed bag of results, although they won the reverse fixture 2-0 and have enough quality to land the points in this game.
Finally, we go into the depths of English football for our final pick, with EXETER CITY sitting top of League Two and we’re expecting the Grecians to make it three home wins from three against Newport.
Paul Tisdale’s side were so close to promotion last season and they have began with ten points from their opening four matches. Newport have eight points and sit in second although the Devon side should have the edge here.
