Tip: Man City Win to Nil
Units: 3/5

Manchester City are on the verge of landing a domestic treble, with Pep Guardiola’s side having already landed the EFL Cup and they’re in the box seat to claim the Premier League title with two matches remaining.

Now comes their chance to add a potential third trophy to the mix, with the north-west side meeting Watford in the 2019 FA Cup final and the bookies naturally have them as strong favourites to get the job done.

It’s hardly a surprise considering that City are regarded as the best team in England and among the best sides in Europe. Wembley has effectively become a second home considering the number of times that Pep’s men have visited the national stadium and they’ve been triumphant on each occasion.

Whatever happens in the Premier League, the Manchester City players will have enjoyed a nice rest after the rigours of a hard season, with Watford having to work out a game plan which will both nullify the Citizens and also see them go forward and create chances.

The Hornets did enjoy a fantastic comeback against Wolves which saw Javi Gracia’s side go 2-0 down before staging a fightback which saw them claim an extra-time victory, although they do have limitations when set against a team like City.

Brighton were unable to lay a glove on City when losing 1-0 to the champions of England and we suspect that they’ll be able to keep Watford at arm’s length, with Vincent Kompany continuing his farewell tour by operating alongside Aymeric Laporte in central defence.

City should enjoy the lion’s share of possession, with Leroy Sane and Raheem Sterling likely to enjoy operating in wide spaces against a team who have scored twenty-one goals against them in the previous six meetings.
