What do Manchester City, Liverpool and Wolves all have in common? They are the only teams to stop Arsenal winning at the Emirates Stadium this season, with Tottenham and Everton among the sides who have been turned over by the Gunners.

It is clear that Unai Emery’s side are formidable opponents in front of their own fans and they recently came from behind to defeat Spurs, with the supporters capable of cheering Arsenal to victory when they clash with Chelsea on Saturday teatime.

The Blues might be six points better off in the Premier League table although they have hardly been convincing in recent weeks and it’s been less a case of Sarri-ball and more a case of hard-nosed pragmatism in order to land victories.

The bottom line is that Chelsea are missing a striker and that is why Eden Hazard has been pushed into an advanced position, with the Belgian’s potency reduced recently against Newcastle when the team edged home by a slender margin.

Admittedly, Chelsea have been fairly strong on the road although they have lost away to Wolves and Spurs, with Arsenal falling into a similar category and there is plenty to like about the Gunners going forward.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is the sort of forward that Sarri would crave at the Bridge and the former Borussia Dortmund forward is currently on fourteen goals for the season and hungry for more.

After losing at West Ham last weekend, Emery is sure to have the team fired up for this encounter and we might see Lucas Torreira and Aaron Ramsey back in the side as the Gunners look to recreate that fabulous north London derby win.

Quite simply, if the home side are to qualify for the Champions League next season, they need to be all guns blazing in this contest and perhaps there will be some fireworks.
