Are Crystal Palace better away from home this season? Roy Hodgson’s side have been stifled at Selhurst Park so far this campaign, losing at home to Southampton and Liverpool before being held against Newcastle last weekend.

Conversely, they have registered victories at Huddersfield and Fulham while also narrowly losing to a strong Watford side, with the Eagles clearly relishing life on the road and they always have a chance of winning when Wilfried Zaha is in the team.

Roy Hodgson is getting mildly irritated when reminded how reliant his Palace side are on Zaha and he will be the focal point of the team’s attack at the Vitality Stadium, with Eddie Howe looking for a reaction after a thrashing at Turf Moor.

Bournemouth were actually favourites to beat Burnley last weekend and were in the ascendancy before being taken down by the Clarets although they are looking fairly vibrant in front of their own supporters.

The Cherries have scored eight goals in three home matches thus far and their opponents have been Leicester, Everton and Cardiff, with Ryan Fraser, Josh King and Callum Wilson posing all manner of problems for opponents.

Nevertheless, it’s hard to be excited about the 2.20 about the home win considering that the defence have conceded eleven goals in their six games and it looks like a safer bet to punt the draw or even both teams to score.

Bournemouth nearly always find the net at home and Palace have been on the scoresheet away from home each time, with both matches between these teams ending in a 2-2 draw last season.
