Leicester v West Ham Premier League betting preview and tips
Leicester are a hard team to trust when it comes to backing them to win, especially at relatively short odds and we find the Foxes trading at 2.10 to win against a team who are on a similarly level.
Claude Puel’s side are pretty attack-minded despite the manager’s reputation for fairly dull football, with James Maddison adding an obvious creative spark in the middle of the field and we’re enjoying the combination of Jamie Vardy and Kelechi Iheanacho in attack.
However, the Foxes have been defensively profligate at the back, with some horror shows served up this season and none more so than at Bournemouth where the Cherries went 4-0 up before a couple of consolation goals.
Leicester also shipped two at home to Everton in their last home game, with West Ham offering plenty of venom in attack thanks to that front three of Felipe Anderson, Andriy Yarmolenko and Marko Arnautovic.
The latter was foiled by Hugo Lloris on three occasions against Tottenham and we should expect the Austrian to cause plenty of problems with his pace and ability to score goals from all types of range.
West Ham have looked pretty good since that bad start where they lost their first four matches although they are another team who don’t keep many clean sheets and we should expect an open game here.
The Hammers drew a blank at Brighton but have found the net in several other away matches this season including at Arsenal and Everton, with Robert Snodgrass capable of a good set piece delivery.
We can’t be confident of the outcome but both teams scoring looks a likely outcome in this one.
