Premier League betting preview – 5/6 November

There is one final round of Premier League matches before the international break, with Manchester City, Arsenal and Liverpool currently sharing the lead at the top of the Premier League.

City remain favourites to win the title after last week’s 4-0 win at The Hawthorns, with Unibet offering 2.35 that Pep Guardiola engineers his team into champions.

They will be heavily backed for Saturday’s clash against Middlesbrough, with BetVictor going 1.22 about a victory for Manchester City and you can get 1.67 with Ladbrokes that they lead at half-time and full-time.

It’s worth noting that Tuesday’s excellent 3-1 win against Barcelona might have taken its toll emotionally and physically, with Boro no slouches at the moment and the visitors are 6.00 to follow up that point at the Emirates with another draw here.

Bournemouth are likely to be a popular choice at 1.67 (William Hill ) to beat a Sunderland team who are propping up the rest of the division. David Moyes has just a handful of games to improve the fortunes of the Black Cats although the layers are happy to go 6.00 about the away win.

Chelsea meet Everton on Saturday evening and Antonio Conte’s side are bidding for a fifth straight win, with shrewd punters backing the Blues to win the title after their Italian manager changed formation.

Paddy Power go 1.57 about a win for the London side, although Ronald Koeman will have a game plan to attack and Everton look slightly overpriced at 6.50 (BetVictor ) to win at Stamford Bridge.

West Ham are 2.10 when they face a resurgent Stoke City team, with the Potters moving up the table and BetVictor quote 3.90 about Mark Hughes’ side winning this fixture as they did last season.

Meanwhile, the biggest match of the Premier League weekend takes place on Sunday when Arsenal entertain Tottenham at the Emirates. The Gunners are a best price 2.10 and the BetVictor price could be one worth taking, with Arsene Wenger’s side going very nicely at the moment.

Spurs are 3.70 with Unibet to win this game and they will hope to welcome back Harry Kane, although the striker is not match fit and perhaps this is where Tottenham lose their first top flight game of the season.

Liverpool aren’t losing much this season and bet365 offer 1.29 that they beat Watford at Anfield on Sunday. Jurgen Klopp’s side are hungry for goals and perhaps we will once again profit from backing the Reds to win and both teams to score. William Hill have 2.88 about this happening.

Manchester United head to south Wales on Sunday after a long trip to Turkey although they are odds-on to beat Swansea. Indeed, William Hill offer 1.65 about the Red Devils and that’s pretty much the big price you can get.

The Swans are a 6.00 poke (bet365) to get the points this weekend and Bob Bradley will surely set his team up to attack, with Gylfi Sigurdsson potentially the main man at odds of 12.00 to score the first goal.

Finally, Leicester meet West Brom and the Foxes are 1.80 with BetVictor to beat the Baggies. However, that looks a touch skinny and we prefer the draw at 3.60 (bet365).
