Premier League Game Week 4 Preview – 1/2 September
Liverpool have enjoyed a sparkling start to the 2018/19 Premier League season and there’s a genuine conviction that this could be the campaign where the Reds win their first title since 1990.
Jurgen Klopp’s side head to the King Power Stadium on Saturday, with bet365 going 1.44 about the Merseyside team landing three points against a Leicester side who are on a winning run of their own.
The Foxes landed a 2-0 win over Wolves before coming from behind to land the spoils at St Mary’s, with Claude Puel’s team priced at 6.50 with bet365 to enjoy a surprise win against their high-flying opponents.
Brighton and Fulham clash at the AMEX Stadium and some punters might be keen on the 3.30 with bet365 about the Cottagers claiming another victory after a sensational win over Burnley. However, the Seagulls are tough cookies and they’re the 2.20 favourites.
Chelsea are 1.28 to beat Bournemouth although it should be noted that the Cherries won 3-0 at Stamford Bridge last season and look to be full of goals, with Eddie Howe’s side an enormous 9.00 to get the job done.
Crystal Palace have lost their previous two matches although that hasn’t stopped bet365 going 1.95 about the Eagles getting over the line against Southampton, with the Saints priced at 3.80 after a winless start to the season.
Everton are likely to feature in many a weekend accumulator, with the Toffees chalked up at 1.50 to claim three points at Goodison Park, with punters potentially looking at a way to add 50% to their original money, although the draw is trading at 4.00 and Huddersfield will look to play tight.
West Ham are without any points ahead of their clash against Wolves, with bet365 prepared to lay the Hammers at 2.50 for a tricky encounter against a side fresh from landing a 1-1 draw against Manchester City. Wanderers are full of classy players and 2.80 looks like a nice price about the visitors.
Manchester City are ready to bounce back from dropping points at Molineux and they are 1.11 to claim a home win over a Newcastle United team who are likely to be ultra-defensive at the Etihad Stadium. If you fancy the Magpies to shut out the English champions, then bet365 have 9.00 and you can get 21.00 about the away win.
Cardiff and Arsenal meet on Sunday lunchtime and the Bluebirds are 5.50 with bet365 to pull off a shock win against a Gunners side yet to convince, although the visitors are 1.57 favourites to secure a first away victory of the season.
Burnley are a lumpy price to inflict a third consecutive defeat on Manchester United, with the Clarets trading at 6.00 with bet365, while the Red Devils are a 1.61 job to bounce back from that mauling against Spurs.
Watford go up against Tottenham and it looks an intriguing tussle, with the Hornets priced at 5.25 with bet365 and it’s a big price about a Spurs team who didn’t blow Manchester United away despite the lop-sided scoreline. The visitors are 1.61 to get the three points.
