Fulham started the 2019/20 Championship season as one of the favourites to get promoted, although Scott Parker’s side currently sit outside the top six after sixteen games played.

The Cottagers have only managed to win seven matches thus far, with the team winning three of their first four games although this has been followed by erratic form and their last match at Craven Cottage saw Hull City leave with a 3-0 victory.

Friday’s derby against Queens Park Rangers represents an opportunity to climb up to fourth in the table and Fulham are strong favourites to claim the three points although they have only won 50% of their home games this season.

While the home side have the division’s leading scorer in Aleksandar Mitrovic, they are also prone to conceding goals and probably rely too heavily on their Serbian marksman to find the net.

The big positive for Fulham is that they will face a QPR side who are currently shipping plenty of goals. Rangers have conceded at least twice on the past eight occasions that they have taken to the field and they are currently on a run of four matches without a victory.

Mark Warburton’s side are only two points worse off than their opponents and Nakhi Wells has been scoring plenty of times this season, although we can’t trust the visitors to keep things tight and are therefore expecting a high-scoring encounter.

With the derby atmosphere sure to rev up the players that little bit more, we could see a pulsating encounter and we’ll recommend at least three goals being scored, although there’s a real chance that we could see the net bulge more times than this.
