At the time of writing, Norwich City sit top of the Championship and the Canaries will be confident of staying clear of Sheffield United and Leeds, with Daniel Farke’s side continuing to score lots of goals in their quest for promotion.

Norwich have won eleven times at Carrow Road this term, with City having top-scored as far as home goals are concerned and they have recently enjoyed wins over Ipswich and Bristol City.

It was noticeable in both games that the Canaries scored three goals and that came after bagging two in a draw against Sheffield United, with Teemu Pukki having scored an amazing twenty-seven goals in all competitions.

The Finn should feel confident about scoring against a Swansea side who have lost eight times on the road this term and might be slightly distracted by the prospect of Manchester City visiting in the FA Cup.

The Swans recently lost 3-1 at Sheffield Wednesday and they previously lost at Bristol City and Leeds United, with the Welsh side having struggled since they were relegated from the Premier League.

We wouldn’t put punters off the prospect of backing Norwich to win and both teams to find the net, although we will stick with a reasonable price about the Canaries winning the encounter.

After all, the net has bulged sixty-four times in seventeen games at Carrow Road this term and Farke clearly has the philosophy of trying to outscore the opposition rather than actually keep clean sheets.

The Swans are a hard team to predict although the fact that they sit nine points off the play-off places means that they would need to put together an impressive run to get anywhere near the top six.

The visitors rely heavily on Oliver McBurnie for goals and they are likely to crumble defensively if they fall a goal behind in this clash.
