Manchester United have had more than their fair share of injuries, although a recent 3-1 win at Crystal Palace illustrated that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer can use squad members to good effect and there aren’t many better reserve players than Alexis Sanchez.

Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial should be in contention for the Red Devils after recovering from injury, while it should be noted that Paul Pogba is now enjoying the sort of form that saw him light up the Serie A stage with Juventus for four consecutive seasons.

We enjoyed Manchester United’s recent victory at the Emirates in the FA Cup, while the Red Devils have also gone to Tottenham and Chelsea to win since Solskjaer took charge of the team.

Therefore, we wouldn’t put anyone off backing them to win this match against a Gunners team whose recent 5-1 win over Bournemouth massively flattered them. When Unai Emery’s side take the lead, they can look like world-beaters although defensively they are often found out.

To play it a bit safer, we recommend backing United on the Asian Handicap. You can get odds of 1.67 about the visitors with half a goal start, something that means that a draw would be enough to secure a profit with this bet.

While Arsenal have a high win ratio at home this season, United have won nine times on the road and that’s even with Jose Mourinho being at the helm for a large chunk of the season.

United have David de Gea who seems to have a blinder every time he comes to the Emirates, with Paris Saint-Germain the only team to have triumphed against this north-west outfit since the change of manager.

Scott McTominay is proving to be adept in the central midfield position and Romelu Lukaku is showing his versatility when it comes to playing either as a centre forward or wide left.
