Crystal Palace v Bournemouth Betting Tips & Predictions
Crystal Palace struggled at Selhurst Park last season and it’s been a similar story this time around, with the Eagles managing to win just two of their seven games played so far.

However, Roy Hodgson’s team played really well against Liverpool recently and were unfortunate to lose the game 2-1. Similarly, their other defeats have come against other leading teams in Manchester City and Leicester.
Palace have beaten Norwich and Aston Villa, while they were the better team when drawing with Everton and Wolves, with the London side looking an attractive price to get the better of a Bournemouth side who have been struggling of late.
The Cherries have always been known for being attack-minded under Eddie Howe although the goals have dried up this season and striker Callum Wilson has failed to find the net in any of his previous seven matches at the time of writing.
Bournemouth have recent lost consecutive matches against Newcastle and Wolves, with just one win recorded in the past eight games and perhaps this is going to be a season of struggle for a team who ended the previous campaign in rather bad form.
Palace’s big problem at home has been scoring enough goals and five isn’t a great return from seven games played, although Wilfried Zaha found the net against Liverpool and Andros Townsend is also capable of tormenting a Cherries defence which have stopped keeping clean sheets.
At odds-against, we feel there is value backing a home win and would give Palace at least a 50% chance of recording victory, with James Tomkins and Gary Cahill looking like a solid central defensive partnership in front of Vincente Guaita.
