Everton v Leicester City Betting Tips & Predictions
Barring a miracle or the Premier League season not being completed, Leicester City will be lining up in the Champions League next term.
The Foxes are eight points clear of fifth-placed Manchester United and a further two points ahead of Wolverhampton Wanderers in sixth, with Brendan Rodgers having thrashed Aston Villa in early March which got plenty of clear daylight between themselves and the chasing pack.
The Midlands side are now scheduled to head to Goodison Park for a tricky encounter on Merseyside and it’s hard to be too confident that Leicester can win this match considering they only have a 50% victory rate on the road.
Many of those seven wins came earlier in the season and, despite Jamie Vardy returning to the goal trail and Harvey Barnes playing the best football of his career, Everton are looking like a more solid proposition under Carlo Ancelotti.
The Toffees have had some good results since the Italian took charge although there was a major hiccup before the enforced break when the team were trounced 4-0 at Stamford Bridge and it could have been an even heavier scoreline.
It could certainly be the case that Jordan Pickford eventually makes way for a better keeper at the club despite being the current England number one and the best form of defence is currently attack considering the excellent form of Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Richarlison.
Ultimately, neither team have been keeping many clean sheets and Everton’s prospects of playing in European competition look remote considering that the Merseyside outfit have now dropped into the bottom half of the table.
The home fans will just want to see the team go out on a few high notes this term and we could see an end-to-end encounter where both teams scoring looks like the obvious bet.
