West Ham v Everton Betting Tips
Two teams who can’t be trusted to win clash at the London Stadium and it’s probably worth looking away from the 1X2 market when it comes to betting on a Premier League tussle between the Hammers and the Toffees.
At the time of writing, there is only two points between West Ham and Everton, with the former having won at Goodison Park earlier this season when triumphing by a 3-1 scoreline.
That was an open game of football and Everton’s recent 3-2 defeat at Tottenham suggests that the Merseyside team continue to employ expansive tactics which often see them and the opposition score.
Marco Silva sets his team up to go out and win games, with Dominic Calvert-Lewin illustrating the scoring touch more than his team-mates at the moment, although Gylfi Sigurdsson has twelve on the board this season and can also create chances aplenty.
As for West Ham, Declan Rice has probably been the team’s outstanding performer, with Marko Arnautovic lurching between brilliant, injured and looking as though he would leave for China at some stage.
Felipe Anderson has been inconsistent and lost his scoring touch, although the Hammers have pilfered 23 goals in 15 home matches and there’s been nearly an average of three goals per match at the London Stadium.
With this Everton match being sandwiched between clashes against Arsenal and Chelsea, it’s imperative that the visitors go on the front foot in search of points, with Richarlison and Calvert-Lewin expected to be selected in those attacking positions.
It’s just that the Toffees defence isn’t particularly watertight and this seems to be a hallmark of Silva teams, with the Portuguese unrepentant in terms of going out and seeking goals.
