Arsenal’s season is in danger of unravelling; with the Gunners odds-against to finish in the Premier League top four and they’re already out of the FA Cup.

The Europa League might represent the best opportunity for the club to make the Champions League next term, although a 1-0 defeat in Belarus means that Unai Emery’s side have some work on their hands this coming Thursday.

BATE bring a slender advantage to the Emirates Stadium and they will now aim to keep things tight, with Alyaksey Baha’s side having qualified for the last 32 after finishing second behind Chelsea in their group.

BATE also managed a couple of away wins during the group stage, landing a 2-0 triumph at MOL Vidi and a 3-1 victory away to PAOK although they did lose 3-1 at Stamford Bridge and might not have the requisite quality to get over the line in this clash.

Arsenal can also reflect on the fact that they won five and drew one of their six Europa League group games, with the Gunners capable of racking up the goals at the Emirates and they are likely to have a strong team fielded for this clash.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is likely to be included in the team, especially as Alexandre Lacazette is suspended after getting sent off in Belarus last week, with Arsenal averaging more than two goals per home game in the Premier League.

Emery fielded a team whom he thought would triumph in the first leg but will now bring back Lucas Torreira and there’s also the prospect of Denis Suarez having a big impact as the London side look to overturn that 1-0 deficit.

We expect Arsenal to go through and expect them to enjoy a fairly emphatic scoreline, with bet365 offering fairly generous odds about the home side with a -2 handicap. It will be money back if they win by two goals.
